If you thought FIFA 20 was bad, 21 is going to impress you in more bad ways than its predecessor.

It is the first FIFA game when I try FUT and in March 2021 it is too late to enjoy playing it properly, If squad battles were ok, trying division rivals with a nice 82 OVR team was suicide. Simply I cannot enjoy playing against people with Ronaldo, Haaland, and many other special cards when I can barely catch them with any of my players. Meta cards are everywhere, no match without the Mendy-Varane duo, accompanied with the likes of Gomez, Pepe, etc. Career mode and Online Divisions are by far the most enjoyable modes in this game. If you're not willing to spend money in FUT, congrats, you stand no chance against those players who just abuse of those meta cards.

From a guy with over 1500 hours in FIFA franchise I'm disappointed with the state of game. I remember watching videos from the likes of KSI, W2S, etc rocking full silver squads, players using different cards everytime not just 11 meta cards like today. Even if FUT revenus grow higher yearly, the interest for FIFA is gone for a lot of people. So many special cards have broken the game for sure. I still hope that the first proper next-gen FIFA to be better because this game needs lot of improvements if they want to have a chance against KONAMI.

Never raged so much as I did on those 33 hours. If you want to buy it, under 20$ is a fair price to have this game BUT I'm in doubts if this deserves any kind of money for continuing being so bad.

P.S.Bought on Origin and at the time of this review I played for 33 hours.
