Witty dialogue, memorable and charming characters, and a stellar soundtrack. This game sucked me in and I couldn't stop until I finished the campaign (11 hours, taking my sweet time). The puzzle elements are easy to pick up and quickly build on each other, but the game still gives you plenty of room to be creative with your ship design. Daily challenges are also fun!

A game where you build rockets without knowing anything about rocket science. This game has a hardcore community, lots of support, and a devteam which is constantly working on new and exciting things. A must-have for sandbox lovers.

Easily one of the best games I've ever invested in. Although extremely short, Portal uses the unique idea of shooting two portals onto surfaces around "testing chambers" that you are being held in. Only clean surfaces can hold a portal, and sometimes you need items to get past locked doors and such. Anyone who likes puzzle games, or is just plain sick of boring old CoD, step right up and buy this game. I garuantee it will be worth your while.

A relatively fun stroll down memory lane for most Red Faction fans, RFA contains a perhaps too-linear plotline in the background of the chaos you're used to in Geurilla. The weapon selection is modest, my personal favorite being the Banshees, which are a set of slow-fire-heavy-damage dual weild pistols. Y'know, the kind that makes you look total bad-a** when strolling through an underground shelter. Seriously, the things just scream "I mean business". The gameplay itself is rather similar to RFG except that many of the battlescenes take place in undergound alien caves. There are some more "tactical" missions, where, if you are so inclined, you can precisely take out aliens perched upon rock ledges. However, a strategy I find slightly more entertaining is aiming the rocket launcher at any nearby structure and firing away :3
Final thoughts: A great game for venting after a long school day, but don't play it for plot.
