Final playtime for Yume Nikki was 22.2 hours. This was not because of the meandering, but rather because I played it on stream, and we had several hours of discussion and feeling moments of silence after the ending. Through explorations of the game's themes we learned so much about Japanese and Aztec Cultures and history. All things considered, Yume Nikki was a brilliant masterpiece that transcends so many of the visibly obvious themes that are within it and becomes something much, much more.
