I really liked the game, but I skipped Civ V since I got Civ IV so close to its release. I have a feeling that YMMV. I feel like Beyond Earth's main flaw is that it doesn't feel ambitious enough for a spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri. Otherwise, it's pretty solid. I really enjoy the Affinity system. Hardcore Civ V players might feel a little let down, though.

This is the game that Grand Theft Auto forgot to be after GTA 2. It is the first time in a while that I've legitimately had fun without worrying that the galaxy is going to explode unless I find the magic gemstone to the Bridge to Terabithia. Bottom line: amazingly fun game, buy it, enjoy.

This game is really good for the price. The immersion you experience from all the little touches they put in the game is fantastic.

This game is awesome. If you've seen any of the Bourne movies, it's like that, only you get to do everything instead of watching.
