Was really excited for this, but sadly it seems to be a huge downgrade from snowrunner.
No damage, no fuel, no manual gear change, way to easy to get arround compared to snowrunner...
You basically just start the engine, release the breaks and hit the gas until you reach your goal, while trying not to run into stuff on your way...
The new Features are nice, don't get me wrong, but that doesn't make up for basically getting rid of EVERYTHING that made the earlier games so great.
btw. those controls, especially the crane controls... wth kind of drug were you on to come up with this nonesense?!

Dear MachineGames, for the turorial alone... let my bow my head in appreciation.
I've never felt nostalgia kicking in this hard in a game before, thank you soooo much for that experience!!! This nerdgasm was worth the purchase on its own. :3

To the game itself:
Very nice visuals and actually really well optimized, yanked everything to max and didn't even encounter a single stutter so far and no bugs noticed until now.... you don't expect games running this well at release anymore these days!
The world feels visually pleasing and encourages you to explore, controls feel intuitive and immersive.
I didn't play that far yet because i got sidetracked checking out every corner i can.
The combat feels fun, especially if you're into more stealthy approaches... just love those takedown scenes.
I don't regret buying this and all i can say: If you're an Indy fan and your system can handle it... what the hell are you waiting for? Just buy it already! :D

Early Access Review
Pretty easy going City Builder, kinda feels like a banished light or something along those lines. Nothing special and not really that difficult, even though there's a little bit too much micromanagement in some weird places... feels kinda off.
Still got some bugs and needs a bit of work and tweaking overall, but it seems like the devs are taking our feedback to heart and are acting on it. Thumbs up for that!
I don't regret buying it and can recomment the game, especially after seeing that one of the issues, i gave feedback about, got dealt with in the recent update. Keep up the good work @ devs :)

It's beyond me why anyone would add a "realistic" tag to this one...
You looking for a good simulation? Don't touch this one, despite how promising it looks....
Feels like an unpolished casual game at best... maybe not even a bad game, if you're into that sort of thing.

Somewhat of a surprise hit i've received with a bundle without prior knowledge about this title.
Interresting concept if, you like building your own ship and a nice artstyle that reminds me of a neat alien atmosphere.
The game has it's issues but it's definitely worth a look if you're into this genre.

There are some major changes this time around, like the indepth character relations of your generals with each other and from other factions... adds a more personal touch and feels like the guys actually develope over time.
Diplomatics have more possibilities too, even though how the AI acts doesn't always make sense, as usual.
One of the bigger changes is the setup of armies, which are organized in retinues now... needs some getting used to but isn't bad at all.
Only things I could (really) complain about is that the world size "feels" rather small compared to previous titles of the series, but the WORST are the non existant naval battles (again!), you basically can't meet enemy armies on the rivers because you're forced to delegate the battles, which can end really badly for you (the AI always manages to screw you somehow...).

To make a long story short: You can't go wrong with this one when you're a fan of the series.

Has it's flaws, as usual... guess a lot of people freaked out about assassins creed controls at one point for example. ;)
Skipped several parts of the series since i got bored of the whole setup pretty fast, just came back since i like the setting of this one... and i'm glad i did.
Doesn't really feel like an assassins creed anymore and more like a typical open world action rpg though.
I guess fans of the series might be a bit disappointed due to the changes, but definitely worth a look if you're into the greek setting and action rpgs.
