Absolutely phenomenal experience. I've tried to get in to "visual novel" style games many times in the past but have had a hard time really sticking with them. This game is different. The narrative is incredible and engaging, the writing is a joy to read, the choices you make have consequences that you can start seeing immediately, and the deck of cards mechanic is just interesting enough to be fun each time it comes up without ever feeling like a chore!

This is one of the first games where I've ever felt motivated to roleplay my character, to make choices that might not be the "optimal" choice from a game mechanics perspective, and it's because the writing and story is so engaging no matter which path you choose, no matter if you succeed or fail challenges.

What an awesome, original idea! Had a bunch of friends over and we all had a blast playing this.

The only thing the game needs to add is a crosshair for the alchemists - we found that some players got very frustrated when they were looking right at the ghosts (with their eyes) but couldn't figure out how to make the headset point directly at what they were looking at.

I have no idea why this game is so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun
