Probably the main reason why we love video games so much, I feel, is because they are an escape from all that's bad in our lives.

It's so good to have a place where you can just run to and forget all the everyday troubles that are constantly looming over your head.

Secondly, I think they're one of the most awesome tool we have to convey emotions.
I've always enjoyed a good book or a spectacular movie, but I always thought they lacked something.

Videogames let you soar breathtaking worlds, face the greatest fears, live the most beautiful moments, make the hardest choices.

They can make you cry, they can make you laugh, they can keep haunting your dreams for weeks, months, years. You're part of the story.

You weave the faith of the protagonist, what moves its spirit, its intentions, its actions.

They can deliver the deep messages of a days long book while counting on the support of imagery and music that is collected in a two hours movie, and the result can be just mindblowing.

I think they truly are to be considered art, and too often we forget how much work and feeling people behind them put into these.

So all I want to say is, thank you developers for giving us the chance of dreaming and living the impossible through these masterpieces which are nothing more than human's work on the outside, but are able to inspire just so much more than that.
