I mean, it's fun for a few minutes I guess.

I last played this game over half a decade ago, so I really don't know what it's like now, but from my memory it was pretty fun especially in multiplayer.

Well, the game was alright. Graphically it's very breathtaking, but personally I just didn't feel that there was much gameplay and story-wise to help it stand out from the previous installments. I'm also not very big on the story for this one, I know it concludes the things that have been building up for the past games, but I kind of found the story a bit bland. It's not a bad game, but I don't really think it was that great or amazing either.

The game was alright although a bit jarring to see the sudden change in Lara's appearance from the previous game. Never really got into the multiplayer on this one. The setting is new and interesting but honestly the gameplay and story just feel like a rehash of the previous game. Also, the previous game was kind of understandable seeing as it was a survival of the fittest kill or be killed sort of deal on that abandoned island, but seeing Lara just go all trigger happy was kind of... off to say the least.

The game is alright for what it attempts to be which is a reimagining of Lara's origin story, gameplay is also decent, although most of it does feel a bit uninspired to me but maybe I was just expecting something a bit different from the game.

I've almost exclusively played this game on multiplayer, and the multiplayer on this game is pretty decently good. The game itself is great if you consider a lot of it was created by just one person. I'm not really one for farming sims, but I did play a bit of Rune Factory back in the day, and while there are similarities, Stardew Valley has it's own uniqueness that makes it shine for me. Maybe it's also partly because the game kind of rekindled that farming RPG craze after Harvest Moon. Personally, my favorite thing to do in the game is to just sit back, relax, and do some fishing as I let my crops grow with sprinklers. It kind of helps me if I try not to think about achieving milestones and just pick a task to do for the day and just do it, those little accomplishments in the game really give me a boost of joy that's sometimes very much needed.

Early Access Review
Friend gifted this game to me so we could play together, and that's where pretty much all my hours in this game come from. The game is... alright, not really my cup of tea and isometric POV kinda messes with my head a lot, but I can see how appealing this game can be with the intricate systems in place that you have to juggle as you try to survive. The only reason I don't have as many hours in this game is because, for some reason, whether it be the game's net code or my own messy internet connection, we just kept getting desync issues every time I tried to join the game. Eventually I just got fed up. Maybe if that problem gets fixed, either by an update or my ISP finally deciding to do their jobs, I might revisit this review, but for now I'd say the game is okay if you can get multiplayer to work.

I really enjoyed Shadow of Mordor, and I also really enjoyed this game, although maybe not as much. The online functions kind of felt shoehorned into the game, and otherwise the game just felt like Shadow of Mordor but in a new setting. I was fortunate enough to only get this game after they got rid of the loot boxes, so I don't really have much to comment on that, but there's still enough RNG in this game to be a bit annoying. I'm not really a big fan of the story, it's interesting sure and things escalate like crazy, but I honestly prefer the more personal focus on Talion and his quest to avenge his family, but maybe that's just me.

A fun Lego game and adaptation of LOTR overall, but it's kinda sad thinking this was around the time Lego added actual voice lines to the games, I really found the visual gags from the older games to be charming and universally understandable. The gameplay was pretty refreshing, still working with the old system put in place by games like Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman, while still managing to add something that helps it to stand out.

Played this before as a kid on my Wii, really just bought it for the heck of it. A fun diversion for a few hours but honestly the OG Lego Star Wars games felt a lot better to play.
