Classic style RPG with a homely feel. Lots of content, lots of build options, a bit rough around the edges but full of charm.

I have a soft spot for Gedonia, there is just something about it that manages to be really entertaining and humorous despite it's rough edges. It's sort of like a sweater your grandma knitted; it might not fit properly, it's a bit ugly and garish, but it is chock full of character and charm and boy is it comfy.

Gedonia 2 feels similar to the first, but with a host of improvements. The voice acting and graphics are improved, the side quests are more creative and interesting, and the skill trees feel quite expansive and rewarding as you gain experience. Overall I have enjoyed my time so far.

A fair few bugs present as to be expected, but many of the issues I've had have already been resolved in the first day of hotfixes! Only get it in early access if you want to be part of that process, otherwise wishlist it and wait for 1.0!

A cosy and wholesome game, well done dev, I enjoy your output immensely.

My favourite Age of game that I grew up playing the most, now looking and playing better than ever.
Nice excuse to replay all the campaigns again.
Great remaster that represents amazing value even at full price. Take note devs, this is how a remaster should be done.

If you like the previous Age of Empires games then chances are you'll like this one.
A modernised take, it doesn't reinvent the wheel but is different enough to stand on it's own from the rest.
The campaigns are particularly high quality, resembling a documentary style that can actually teach you a bit about the period as you progress through the missions.
Recommended for history buffs and enjoyers of RTS campaigns.

Great game that expands on the rest of the WWI series by having some of the most captivating progression for the classes thus far. The weapons and units have a high attention to detail, the maps are beautiful and well made, and the combat is well...it's brutal, which is exactly what you'd expect out of a WWI sim.
On top of that, the devs are continually releasing new maps and content for free, which I applaud for their commitment to quality. Well worth the purchase.

Best driving sim\sandbox there is. The scenarios are great, but I mainly just like to free-roam. Each content update is like a little gift, always something to look forward to.
My only concern is that it will never leave early access, been playing this for years and it has still only reached version 0.35 in all that time. Slow and steady wins the race, I guess!

Best historical fencing sim there is. That may be due to it being the ONLY historical fencing sim, but that doesn't make it any less great. Buy it, you won't regret it! Best early access I've ever played, as each new content update is like a little gift that keeps on giving =D

Disappointing DLC. At the same price point as Sultan's Ascend I thought there would be a lot more content. The missions are fun enough, but are a poor substitute for a DLC campaign that I would have hoped for. If it was a new campaign, or an entirely new Civilization, then that would be a different story, but sub-factions just feel like a ripoff to me. It's basically just the same base game factions with a few special units.
This one is definitely more suited to players that care more about the online than people that just enjoy the campaigns/history side of things.

Really cool game. Awesome setting with interesting lore, fun gameplay, pretty graphics with a unique visual style, and a banging soundtrack. What more could you want?
Recommend playing with Russian audio for the full immersive experience.

Outstanding game, holds up well for it's age.

More cinematic than the previous entries, this one builds upon the story and characters developed over the series and goes deeper into the emotional and mental toll of the war on each member of your squad, and of course Baker himself.
The gameplay is refined, with tighter aiming and a better cover system, the audio & visuals are also improved and represent a big leap forward in technology between the first two games and this one.

Overall probably my favourite WWII shooter series, and it's an absolute travesty that we are left on a cliffhanger for this long!
After a long hiatus, and with a sequel supposedly currently under development, here's hoping that the next Brothers In Arms title is only just over the horizon...
