The name akaddict was created by my childhood best friend and battle buddy that joined the army after I did, Dan Costello. He died to an overdose of fentanyl in 2015. He joined active duty and went to Germany and got an injury and got prescribed opiates and came back home and got addicted and eventually started using heroin, he eventually OD'd by fentanyl. We used to play CS 1.5/1.6 at LAN centers back in the day, $4 an hour because all we had was AOL 56k dial up and 128mb/256mb and 512mb of ram if you were wealthy. mIRC was the only way to look for competitive scrims in chatrooms.
