EDIT: I have decided to change my review to a negative review, as the soundtrack can be purchased in FLAC quality on bandcamp for the same price. This DLC does not include FLAC.

Old review follows:
I'd like to preface this review by stating that Undertale has a wonderful soundtrack, but I can't really justify the price.

Yes, buying this DLC will give you the game's soundtrack in .mp3 format.

BUT, you can find the game's soundtrack in .ogg format in the folder in which the game is installed.

Sure, you don't get the album artwork to go with the music files. These .ogg files don't contain any tag data (that is, they don't contain information that tells your music software about the name of the track, the track number, the album title, etc). Also, because the .ogg and .mp3 version of "Megalovania" are 1.78 MB and 5.96 MB respectively, despite both being 2 minutes and 36 seconds long, I think it is reasonable to assume that the .mp3 files would "sound better" to an audiophile.

With all that said, I think the question of whether or not you want to buy this soundtrack comes down to three questions:
1. Is all the work that would be required to add the tags to .ogg files, and optional to convert them to .mp3 worth more than $10?
2. Do you think that the increased quality that comes with the .mp3 files worth $10?
3. Does Toby Fox deserve the extra money that he would recieve if you bought this soundtrack?

If you answered "Yes" to at least one of these questions, you should buy this game.

Honestly, the answer to "3" is "Yes" for everyone can afford it. The soundtrack and the game are just THAT good.

But, if you have more time than money on your hands, you might want to simply not buy it.

EDIT: It has come to my attention that there are some songs that are present on the soundtrack that are not present on in the base game.

Yes, this is a good game.

But for the love of all that is good, PLEASE don't get overhyped for it.

Yes, this game has won tons of critical acclaim, but you'll enjoy the game much more if you don't expect it to be the best game in the history of games.

My advice? Buy it RIGHT NOW.

You'll either love this game or absolutely hate it, but fortunately, you'll be able to figure this out LONG before the two hour refund deadline.

tl;dr

Don't get too hyped.
Buy the game.
Get a refund if you don't like it.
Adjust your standards for what constitutes being too long to justify not reading.

It's fun, when it works.
But I am frequently unable to play the game thanks to Uplay.
F***you, Ubisoft.

This game is System Shock 2 was made in the unity engine with "indie" graphics without the RPG mechanics. It's just as scary as System Shock 2, and you should definitely buy it if you like survival-horror.
The only problem is that it's a bit short. Please note, however, that I've only just started playing the game, so my play-time isn't representative of a full playthrough.

This game is CRIMINALLY obscure. This was made after System Shock 1 by the same people, although the gameplay is completely different. You play as a guy in a suit of futuristic power-armor, equipped with lasers and other cool gadgets. While in the suit, you go on missions with various objectives, such as killing pirates, performing recon, search and rescue, etc. The combat is fast-paced and excellent. The graphics are rather good for the time period and are still "good enough" by my standards. In addition, the story is superb. This game contains FMV scenes which are suprisingly well acted, and there is a level of lore that very few other games can match. I spent at least an hour reading the in-game descriptions of the the planets in the Centauri system, the clans that inhabit the planets, and the current state of earth. The controls are a bit odd, but not nearly as bad as System Shock 1's controls. With all this in mind, I can wholeheartly reccomend it.

Stay away from this one. The original Ace of Spades was a great little FPS, but Jagex ruined it with this release. I don't think the community is all that active any more, so you should stay away from this one.

This was my favorite game by Humongous back in the day, and I played quite a few (with the exception of the Spy Fox series, much to my regret). If you like point-and-click adventure games, have a kid between the agest of 3 and 8 (although some kids might want to play this all hte way up to 10 or maybe 12), or have played this game in your childhood, you NEED this game.

This is a pretty darn good Half-Life mod. Unless you have a pathetically small hard drive or don't own HL2, you have no reason not to play this, as it is free.

This is a children's point and click adventure game.
You may not want to buy this if you are an adult with no history with any Humongous games, but if you are considering buying this for a young child (I think the CD version I owned as a kid said "ages 3-7"), you can't go wrong with this game. Your kid will love it. It has tons of replay value, so it'll keep them occupied for hours. If you played it as a kid, I don't need to say anything as you've already bought it by now.

They promised a Linux port. http://steamproxy.net/games/238050/announcements/detail/227746029781334164
They didn't deliver.
I will give this a positive review when they give us a Linux port.
