This game is very charming, and the price tag is hard to argue. While the game feels jank in some areas (hit registration and offline games sometimes rubberbanding), other areas excel. The art direction is probably my favorite part of the game, it adds a lot of personality. Overall a solid game, more people should try it.

I'll also mention that I played on controller, valve is a stinky liar: this game runs well on the steam deck

I enjoyed the game. I think there's the bones of a good game, but Chucklefish fumbled this so badly. It's a miracle that the modding community has done as much as they have. If you really want to play the game, don't buy it. Use family sharing (or other methods) to play.

Flew under my radar for the longest time. Runs decent on steam deck (At least the first few levels do). The game has a good foundation, and the adjustable difficulty is the perfect way to appeal to different types of players. I'm always iffy about unreal engine 5, but it does look pretty

Got my salad completely tossed by the tutorial. Fun game, need to be a rocket scientist or a crazed ornithologist to win; I am neither. Got as gift, glad I didn't neglect this one in the steam library.

TLDR wait for game to be fixed before buying but otherwise a solid experience.
Gearbox has released their first patch. While it still isn't completely fixed, it's good to see effort being put in towards fixing the game. Acknowledging criticism is a step in the right direction.

I still think gearbox employees should be paid better & randy pitchford is a poopyhead

Randy must have left half the code of the game at Medieval times on a USB drive when releasing SOTS. Either that, or Gearbox held out on their employees again.
The actual game is fun, I recommend finding a way to downgrade the version though...

No skibidi toilet, this game is as straight up dookie as 'why = mx + pee'. This game has been invaded by opps from Ohio and now they are mogging the core parts of the game. This has Gyatt to be the worst way for the game to be fanum taxed. Valve needs to start acting like a sigma to deal with the hacksmaxxing opps.

I recommend this game, but only if it is ever fixed.
If this ever actually does get fixed for good, I will change my review to be less brainrotted. I will learn how to weld in real life in order to create a replica dispenser from scratch, but only if the game ever gets an actual (non-community crate) content update again. If that happens, pigs will be pilots, and ice picks will sell like hotcakes in hell.
