Brilliant ... needs a VR port

Forza Horizon and Steep had a lovechild and this is what became of it. I had a little fun for a little while and I got it for $15 on sale so I can't complain about that; however, learning that I would have to pay another $40 for a BMX career wasn't fun. Seeing guys riding around with smoke masks and cool features that I would have to pay extra for wasn't fun. Each unlock in the career sticks you with a bit of newer slightly better gear and it's a pretty fixed path for the people that don't want to pay extra ... that wasn't much fun either but whatever. I had fun goofing off and falling on my face, or rocketing around in the jetwing for a little bit but it's not worth more than the $15 I paid for it.

I think I'm beginning to understand it now, just gotta restart with a new factory to apply all the things I've learned ... again

I've been waiting almost 4 years for this day, if you think a few bugs are going to ruin my good times you don't know Kerbals!

edit: Well okay the SRBs have burnt out since the launch of this game and we are left in orbit around Kerbin (was going to say Kerbol, but we didn't even make it that far) and .... well, there's really not much more to say. This game is going to remain in endless orbit until some updates happen. The things happening over at Private Division are concerning, hopefully someone comes to rescue our dear Kerbals!

I wasn't going to review this game because its just a simple game that I use to kill time, but it is really well made. For a casual genre game I wasn't expecting to get much out of it, but it what it does it does very well. The thing that surprised me most was VR mode. No motion sickness, and although it warns that it needs a controller or keyboard it worked well enough with the Quest 2 controllers that I didn't need to sit at the computer at all to play it. There is a labyrinth mode that fits very well with VR because you can look around more and plan your route a little better than you could on a screen, so I was super happy with it.

This game is hard, but oh so rewarding! Don't pick this up if you think you're going to rush the dungeons, get rich, and rule the world. Take your time, grind a little, and earn some respect first. I almost avoided this because I don't normally enjoy turn-based RPGs, but felt like I needed to at least try it and I'm glad I did. Unfortunately end-game is very unfinished currently, but this is an early access game so I'm not surprised. There are regular updates from the devs so I have full confidence that they are working on it. It's quite possible to skip huge swaths of content and jump right to end game areas but you will be in over your head and wish you hadn't!

32 hours in and I completed the "story" but I feel like there is so much more I missed. I didn't rely on any guides so I'm just stumbling along and finding puzzles here and there; spent a whole day running in the wrong direction for a mission and then backtracking; spent a lot of time messing about in adventure mode and co-op, joining random players' games or having other people join me. All in all, quite satisfying, but also somewhat empty of ... something ... not sure what though. Going to keep it installed so that I can mess around in adventure mode some more but I don't think I'll do the story again unless a friend wants help running through it.

Bit slow to start, but stick it out for about 30 minutes, it gets better quickly.

I didn't play this for the story, I played this to run across rooftops and smack zombies in the head with sticks. That said, the story wasn't THAT bad, but it wasn't like top tier writing. I enjoyed it for what it was. Also, in regards to graphics issues, I didn't have any playing on a NVidia 2030 card, but your mileage may vary apparently. Good game, wasn't quite worth 100 percenting, but I may go back and play it again in the future just for that thrill again.

50 hours in and I'm almost ready to start playing the game!
