Finished the game in under an hour while waiting for another game to finish updating. I tried not to rush through it to appreciate the work the developers have put into this game and to follow the story line with pieces of clues. However, I found that I had made it through the end without unlocking all of the achievements - and the achievement-♥♥♥♥♥ that I can sometimes be - I went back and replayed the game and found the 2 I had missed.

Pros:
+ Nice story puzzled together in a short amount of time
+ Music
+ Design and feel of the room/floor
+ Free

Cons:
I agree with another reviewer that the tones of voice were sometimes off the mark.

If you have some spare time, definitely pick this up and take the time to enjoy the work that went into putting this together. If there were a larger expansion to this similar to Life is Strange, I'd pay for it.

Thanks devs!

I picked this game up while it was on sale mainly due to the positive reviews. Let me start off by saying - this game did not disappoint.

This game is visually appealing and has a very good story line. While you can go through this game fairly quickly, achievements can be easy to miss, but luckily you can go back with chapter select. Playing as 2 characters was a bit harder than I thought it would be, but it didn't make it difficult to play. I appreciated being able to interact with people, animals, and mythological creatures along the way. This gave it more of a fairy tale adventure feel.

Speaking of the fairy tale feel, my son watched me play this game during the week and fell in love with the simple story line and the engaging interactions and puzzles along the way. He wanted me to play it again just so he could watch - and while I do love this game, I wanted to try others. Thank goodness I found a YT vid of PewDiePie playing, so now my son could watch it on his ipad whenever he wants :-p

TLDR: Fairy tale type game is fun to play and looks beautiful. While simple and quick, it has a great story that my son and I can both appreciate.

When I first started this game, I was NOT sober. And the intro was definitely depressing enough that I had to stop because it was a total buzzkill.

I started playing again the next day and it still rooted emotional feelings including paranoia to the point where I wanted to keep going to solve the mystery of the game. It also made me realize that I'd never ever want to take a job living and working by my damn self in a forest.

The game is an immersive story with an interesting relationship between the character and his ally. The game is also beautifully constructed. I loved a lot of the landscapes and the ability to develop the photos I took by sending it to my email. Because the story had me on the hook, I played it all the way through in less than 5 hours which includes picking up all the achievements and checking out the free roam option after I completed the game.

However, I do wish this game was longer, had more encounters (human and animal), a better "jump" action at any location rather than at predefined jump spots, better detection when attempting to use the ropes, and maybe blend in the ending better - not the ending scene, but the ending story related to the mystery (trying not to give any spoilers!). Because of this, I think the game is worth the sale price rather than the full price.

I've been playing this game through the initial Survive with Friends not working (this got really annoying that I stopped playing for a little bit), patches to fix bugs, and DLC's.

I've gotta say - I'm still really enjoying this game. I like to play as a Survivor, however, I do play as the killer too to mix things up and to do all my daily rituals. Yes, there are still some bugs, but the devs have been releasing patch after patch to fix issues. To me, it shows they're listening to their customers.

I've also played with some awesome teams and some really good killers, so they also make the game enjoyable for me, even though I may throw some salt to face campers if I'm hooked first lol. I also still play SWF with a friend or two, so it's at least better than it was back in July!
