In a nutshell.TF2 traders are people who :

- keep them in friend list, offer you their items everyday without fail

- post trades and immediately go offline for 24 hours.

- have their capslock key stuck on. When you tell them to knock it off, they don't know what the capslock key is or how to turn it off. How did these people manage to install Steam or plug in their toasters?

- have the memory of a goldfish. They open a random trade, ask for something and go away, only to return five minutes later asking for the same thing again. And again. And again.

- can't wrap their heads around the concept of currency and insist upon trying to barter. You're tempted to explain to them that they can increase their trading productivity ten-fold if they use de facto forms of currency as an intermediary step to getting what they want, rather than hoping that the 1 in 10 person who has what they want is the 1 in 100 person who also wants what they have but you know how well that conversation turns out.

- don’t get ‘change’ Explaining how you get $3 change on a $2 candybar after handing a shop $5 is every bit as futile as explaining currency.

- assume that everything you have is for sale. They get indignant when you explain that the shotgun with 5k kills, which is hidden in the back of your backpack, which you've explicitly said isn't for sale, isn't for sale.

- think that they're entitled to half your ♥♥♥♥ just because you've got more than them, when you've been curating your collection of digital crap for years and they only installed TF2 last month.

- fly between extremes of grovelling to calling you every half-thought-through insult conceivable the moment you tell them no.

- have attention spans so short that they open a trade, desperate to buy a certain item, only to make you wait while they deathmatch for 5 minutes.

- get their panties in a twist over other peoples' prices and spend hours of their lives exchanging flames on the internet because someone was selling something for 25% more than what they thought it should be sold for.

- cite a dubious list of average prices that gets passed around the community, unable to comprehend what an average is and thinking that the price list is 'official' (because Valve use blogspot for dictating prices, apparently).

- you help, so they don't get ripped off due to their own ignorance, only for them to turn around and offer you the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deals imaginable. You then regret not ripping them off when you had the chance.

- spam you monthly with links to another click-bait site offering free Steam games (because there's nothing suspicious about a 3rd party site offering free Steam games just for getting your friends to click a link).

- can't commit to a deal and change their offer every 20 seconds.

- have a change of heart after trading, causing them to harass you for 'ripping them off' - often over sums as paltry as 1 or 2 scrap.

-do not understand the meaning of 'DO NOT ADD ME'
