Season 2 of the rebooted Hitman franchise builds upon 2016's excellent stealth sandbox formula. Unlike its predecessor, Hitman 2 takes on a lighter tone as you interact with the World of Assassination.

Pros
  • Intricately designed maps with many different ways to assassinate your target
  • Tons of side storylines on each map to follow
  • Hundreds of challenges encouraging a variety of assassination methods
  • New briefcase item, which functions as a melee weapon, distraction, and container, opens up a lot of creativity
  • Excellent quality of life improvements, including Silent Assassin indicator, clearer detection meters, bushes to hide in
  • Reworked versions of Season 1 maps can be played in the new engine
  • Progress carries over to Hitman 3

    Cons
  • Most new items are reskins of Season 1 items (Signature Mk II look) or useless (snowballs)
  • New sedative/emetic pistols and electrocution phone are overpowered, easy ways out
  • Moving slideshow style cutscenes are a step down from Hitman 2016's cinematics
  • Elusive target system prevents newer players from experiencing the full content available
  • Story relevant missions locked behind expansion pass
  • Progress does not carry over from Hitman 2016

A game about driving cars to play soccer seems relatively simple, but it features an insanely high skill ceiling. The process of learning just how much mechanical skill it demands takes hours and hours. Throw in rotations too, and the depth to this game becomes apparent amongst the chaos of RC cars flying around hitting a ball. Make sure to play with a controller for more precise movement.
