Debris is a singleplayer/coop story based game, set in the icy waters. You and your crew are there to film an advertisement for some mega corporation who has sent you to this location. Shortly after the opening dialog all hell breaks loose, and you along with the rest of the team become trapped under sheets of dense ice. You must find your way out, signal for help and discover the mystery behind the glowing "debris".

The basis of the game is great, I love underwater survival style games, and while this one doesn't have any survival gameplay mechanics per-say it most certainly is a story about your survival. I'd like to start off with the positives of this game, with a fantastic soundtrack and voice acting. I will say that at time the music and be a tiny bit off from the action of the game, but overall its very solid. Touching back on the voice acting, as someone who regularly interviews voice actors I loved these guys and girl. Each conversation felt authentic and engaging with dialog spaced properly. I honestly couldn't tell if this voice work was done ensemble or solo, so props to them and the audio team at Debris.

There were some issues with the game I feel important to bring up. While the story is great the visual are ugly, poor textures and shabby lighting create some horrid looking visuals when I wanted to be in awe of the newly found flora and fauna. On top of that several times I found the A.I getting stuck on things and I would run of energy as a result, or be unable to summon Sonya to my area. This created odd situations where I either had to reload or progress far enough for the game to load. Speaking of loading, Debris is FULL of loading segments as if it were in the PS2 era. This break in narrative and action can really put a damper on the mood and atmosphere of the game.

To close on a good note, the game has several ending each dealing with a particular health issues that I won't spoil here and I commend the devs for their take on this issue. Honestly I like Debris and I found myself pushing through some of the less than engaging enemies, sections and graphics just so I could see what was next. Overall Debris is a great idea with solid acting and storytelling and its just lacking in those polish spots, which I hope to see corrected and improved in Debris 2 (Wink...Wink). Thanks for reading and be sure to comment what you think of Debris down below!

The survival game ARK: Survival Evolved released recently with a bunch of interesting and fun features. The survival crafting game does a lot more than other games in this genre, having actual end game, and reason to be doing the things you are. Ark boasts a huge diverse roster of dinosaurs, and biomes with multiple “Arks” to play on for free and more coming via DLC (We will cover when they are out.). Now what really caught my attention is just the amount of ways you can play this game, from single player/coop (Split Screen) on PS4 and P2P on PC. You also have the online mode, with tribes and such, what really is fun is just the diversity of crafting and the amount of things there are to learn and tame with the animals. On PC the graphical settings are much better than the PS4 (Standard) with better lighting and framerates, however on PS4 the split screen couch co op has proven to be some of the most fun i’ve had in the game. One small issue with the PS4 platform has been the 400 meter leash to the host, while i’m unsure of why it's there it is possible it is for performance since i’ve seen the biggest dips on the console version.

More interesting to me was the engrams system, with more engrams to learn than possible for one player, the game makes you think about what you leave vs what your friends/tribe learns. You can find blueprints out in the wild as well as re-spec yourself to craft the items you need. There are two official modes for this, the default one being the “Survival Evolved” and the second being a more difficult, (If that is even possible) primitive plus. This mode replaces all the modern tech items, making the end game even more difficult but adds some fun new items. The game also features a released DLC called scorched earth for 19 bucks you gain access to 50 new items, new creatures and a new ARK environment. There are also 2 free Ark’s for download including the popular Ragnarok DLC and the other called The Center. Each with new ways to play and vast amounts of challenge, Ark has proven to be a great game. We feel there is plenty of new content to justify its price increase, as with most early access games, the price starts cheaper as the game in incomplete and as new things are added the price value increases, and this game DLC expands its gameplay. Not having the DLC doesn’t feel restrictive which is great, meaning you feel like you purchased a full title.

Last thing we wanna talk about be rendering a score is something kinda new for PS4/Xbox owners. While not the first game to do so, this game allows players to purchase servers to host and run their of games of ARK on. This allows you to control server sliders, XP commands and more, giving you full access to how you and friends can play the game. PC players will find this common practice for server based games, but there are already plenty of official servers to play on. Ark isn’t without its flaws with frame drops on console, and the odd glitch and rendering issue, but it’s a solid game, with a ton on personality, an interesting story hidden behind exciting and fun gameplay. This is truly a survival game done correctly and we over here at NationFusion feel this game has earned its ranking of a 9 out 10. This game is truely a few bugs and features short of being 10, the progression of this game speaks to a developer that sticks to its vision and again while not flawless Ark: Survival Evolved has soul and is a hell of a good time.

Rising Storm 2 is next up in the Red Orchestra series, bringing the fight into Vietnam. With this I want to clarify that this is not a brand new installment in the franchise but more like a standalone expansion pack. It brings period weapons, equipment and vehicles into a Red Orchestra setting. Rising Storm 2 features 2 factions with 2 sub groups in each, the USMC, US Army, NVA, and Viet Cong forces. With the amount of factions, I did expect a few more gear options, here I found a small lack in gearing choices. I would have liked a few more weapons and choices here. The game also offers you cosmetic choices in the form of clothing options, camo, helmets, tattoos and more. This adds a nice touch and can create some awesome looking squads and teams.

RS2 Vietnam does have some amazing looking gameplay, when everything is clicking and firing on all cylinders. At times everything just flows, with the new feature of flyable vehicles there are some truly dynamic gameplay, as you secure an objective as the NVA and a huey lands across from you dropping off the next shipment of American bad asses. I also found while the maps look amazing and are fun to play, they range from rice paddies, fields and cities, there was a lack of maps, only a few large playable maps. The game does offer a few game modes and 1 of them does smaller scale combat well on its own set of maps.

Ok so lets make a decision, is Rising Storm 2 Vietnam good and worth the price of 24.99. Yes, by all means, Rising Storm 2 Vietnam is a great game to play. There is fun fair and interesting content packed into a cheap package. Yes there are flaws and issues but the guys at Tripwire and Antimatter games have passion for this series and i’m sure issues and concerns will be addressed in upcoming patches and more.

I really do like the idea of Farming Expert. You start out with a bit of cash, some equipment and you are on your own to grow and sell crops. With a large sandbox play area, tons of different things to do, it was really off to a great start. Then you start seeing the game-play and that is where this game falls apart.

So one of the main issues here is really just how the game feels, the walking and driving just do no feel polished. In the video review there are several sections where I was flipping the car for no reason. The sound design and sound track leave a bit to be desired as well, things just do not flow with this game as much as I want them to.

Overall the game is not terrible, i've seen way worse, I was just expecting a little more polish and thought. The farming mechanics are solid, with upgrades and different scenarios to play out. The game is just lacking the cohesive glue it needs to make this game great.

Homefront has all the right ideas, a story, large open world, different mechanics it all seems good. However the execution of these ideas leads to one of the worst games ive play while having the ideas I love. Its story falls short on importance, its open world suffers from buggy gameplay with far to few weapons and equipment. The A.I are a joke, friends cant hit anything and enemies kill you with no real notification that you are being shot. It reall is a shame considering how cool the games ideas are. Taking back a city from occupying DRNK forces block by block. With all these issues the multiplayer also has some great ideas, of outfitting a soldier and upgrading their gear and equipment how you see fit. With a backstory that acts like a perk, i can understand the direction. Again its poor execution, long load times, limited amounts of missions, and barely anyone to play with. Good try Deepsilver good try.

Game Tycoon 2 is a tycoon game, developed by Sunlight Games, about making your own game with your own video game company. Sounds super fun right? Because you know, you're a gamer, so that means you gotta have the game about making games for gamers, right, right? Well, not with this game. If you really want a game development game that's good, five dollars less, and more polished, get Game Dev Tycoon.

Game Tycoon 2 has interesting concepts. You have your office, development office and the accessibility to a bank, lawyers, an advertisement agency, the local university, a shopping mall, your own home, and also a production warehouse to create box art and ship the games. You better look at the tutorials because I didn't on my first play-through and had no idea what I was doing. I assumed they'd teach you through out the game, like other tycoon games do, but they didn't. Aside from the tutorials, they have a “campaign”, and an endless mode. Now, I say “campaign”, because it's a “mission” where you have to achieve one goal. There is no way of telling you that you've failed either, you just have to go bankrupt.

I think the main problem with this game is that it's very unclear on what to do because it's not like other tycoon games I've played. The different offices and places available are cool, in concept, but don't really execute well. You can sign a contract to have a company publish or distribute your game and it has a deadline, but you can't make your workers work faster unless you make them stop or train them, which already takes too long. I don't get the process of researching technologies, they still cost the same when you're trying to develop your game. And the main thing that bugged me was the UI. I don't get how it could be that buggy. It was the most difficult thing to assign members of your staff to projects. They made it so complex, for some reason.

The graphics weren't a big deal to me in this game, but I think the character art is pretty weird. Just saying. Now, I sound like I hate the game but I think it could definitely be a good game. The concepts of being able to make your own box art, sign up employees from the local university, advertise your company or game, make contracts, get a loan and buy shares of other companies, surprised me. It has the concepts that could make a great game. But, it's just so hard to get things done with the UI, to me. It makes the game hard to navigate.

The sound of this game is, whatever, average. I can't see myself buying this game for 15 dollars either. Maybe 5. This game just needs to be easier to learn, easier to navigate and have some extra functionalities like speeding up the process of creating the game, despite the quality of the game worsening like in Game Dev Tycoon. With that and other things, this game could definitely be something worth 15 dollars and have good replayability.

Kill to Collect is a fun and unique bullet hellesque game, featuring a lovely art style. The game plays like most dungeon crawl/bullethell style games in the fact you are progessing levels filled with bad guys to fight a boss. The game has its own charm and gameplay elemets but it really is fun to play in challenge mode, where you have one life to make it on the leader board per day.

Some issues with the game are the lack of characters, powerups, and special weapons. With games like Binding of Issac, Dungeon Souls, and Enter The Gungeon i expected a TAD more on release for this game. Also the sound design and sound track could use a bit of love.

All in all this game is awesome, fun and pretty, if you are looking for an addition to your library this isnt a bad one.

Early Access Review
Judgement is an ealry access game with some potential. I like what they are trying to do, and i've already fallen in love with the idea. There is room for improvements, both in gameplay and visual style, but over all its not bad. There is ALOT o micomanaging and things like that but it adds to the charm rather then hinder the gameplay for the most part. Check out the full review on https://www.youtube.com/user/fraggednation

Breach and Clear is one of the few games, that wants to go it own way. The missions are varied, fun and the perma death to squadmates makes a really interesting. Making different teams and loadouts to suit missions is extremely fun and rewarding. The game's price is a bit much for the content given, however if you like this style of game its WELL worth it.

Rough around the edges, but this game offers hardcore shooting mechanics and long detailed missions. Top that with a few wave based senarios and some great voice acting by SSG Knox and this game is for sure woth 9$. Think of it as about 1 dollar per hour of entertainment.
