This "little game" makes Nier look like an annoying japanese drama, if you think this is just a fetishistic old-school first person shooter, you'd be VERY dead wrong.

But how dare Beyond Citadel not be "another looter shooter" with RPG "Gear" elements, am I right?

Only thing I'll recommend it for is the combat doesn't make me snooze and actually asks me to pay attention, instead of auto-attacking and 1-2-3-4-5'ing my way.

"Roleplaying" is already dead and replaced with "gearscore" or "League of Legends" for a decade now, so I just cant bring myself to care anymore. I should play FF16 sometime though.

It's an old-school Comedic "dungeon crawler" shooter, sort of quasi-system shock but more pew pew. It's nice to come back and finish a game like this, it's not exactly great "shooter" but it has a personality that's endearing with "mocapped" enemy sprites.

I swear, getting smacked around by housekeeper ladies haven't been this funny, or god forbid being grabbed by Clowns. Especially Clowns. They can go straight to hell, I swear if one of you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ever grab a hold of me again...

I remember that I played this game's PC version Demo around 2000's out of curiosity through one of the gaming magazines we had around called "Level" and it was just so odd and nightmare inducing to my child brain, guess it did the job right.

You also have to pay attention and listen to FMVs because they have valuable information that you need to beat the game and it's "secrets" or "puzzles" tied to the plot, otherwise this game might be not for you. Sure beats reading text bombardments though.

Someone seriously did their "gaming" homework on this game, making me get "shocked" by 0451 constantly. (oh come on dont be a ♥♥♥♥)

Only thing bothers me is PC's slow movement (Thank god for the workshop for adjusting speed back up) and enemies seem to behave more "Tactical Shootery" than Doom-esque, which gives me question "WTF am i playing?" sometimes. I do admit, I'm spoiled by Hedon and even more so with TREPANG2 because fast player character go fast - boom boom, bang bang.

I love it. I will continue to love it 'till the day I DIE. Oh, and that Safe Room music is going to my playlist.

it's an Asian Mobile Looter Shooter, you know what that means. +99999 gun level and +99999 armor level. Yaaay, fun. Nah. I'm done. The game already ran out of tricks by the time you reach to the desert. At least it was more fun than UNDAWN.

Gotta say, "HE WAS HERE" mission was actually pretty exciting.

Korean Looter Shooter with more ass and titties. I thought I had enough tits from Vindictus and FF14.

Freelancer-style gameplay with focus on Cosmic Horror? Why on god's earth steam never suggested me this before?

I was sold on this as soon as I jump-holed into a system full of moving black-holes where I finally managed to get a tier 3 thrusters on a Battleship before ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ off back to Jumphole. I will carry on with this game, this is actually not bad at all.

If Freelancer style arcade flying and shooting back fast isn't your thing, please dont complain and just go away. You got Elite Dangerous and No Mans Sky, now we can add this along them. I hope the game works out in the end, I genuinely do.
