This is a game? Or an interative novel? Or a wallpaper screenshot simulator? That's for you to decide. During the whole 15 minutes or so I played it, I questioned on the definition of "game" - in particular "video game". I also questioned my life. But that's another story.

I have a group of friends I grew up with, and they were really into obscure movies. I remember them raving about some movie called Donny Darko. I watched it and thought, wtf is this, this is some real artistics steaming bull crap. I mean, it had some good points but man, you really have to be into movies and sci fi and weird stuff to get into that movie. Then inception came along. I thought it was decent you know, good computer graphics, spinny worlds, spoiler alert: twist. I guess where I'm going here is that both these movies are major hype artistic crap with the twist being the main seller. Now, if we talk about games, this is where I bought put bioshock infinite. The gameplay mechanics are ok. Nothing revolutionary here. The graphics are ok. I think everything is ok and well within the 30-40 dollar price tag. But the story is what you pay your admission for. And yeah, if you liked Donny Darko, Inception then probably this is for you. It also helps to have played bioshock 1 and 2.

For recommending a game, there is only 2 options. One option is YES. The other is NO. I'm torn between worlds here. I really enjoyed the game because I had a multiplayer experience. Solo experience is probably some watered down, 3 day old gulhwein (read: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥). Having said that, if you have time (which I'm sure we all have extra of), and manage to get through the abnormally long story, and bought the DLCS, then Tiny Tina is the end game. That DLC is probably the highpoint of the Bored-erlands 2 title, a real treat.

So in other words, you need multiplayer, you need time, you need Tiny Tina DLC after you beat main quest. The end.

If you played Bored-erlands 2 and Tiny Tina DLC, then you have a rough idea what this is. Vibrantly colourful, awesome narration, semi-meh storyline with a nice twist. The way the story is told is similar to mentioned DLC, where you are playing and things around you change as he remembers or retells the events. I thought it was a great game, for 15 dollars you get around 5 or so hours worth. If you're like me, pro-internet-cowboy, then you'll enjoy dual welding some pistols and going pew pew pew on some nazis, I mean Injins and merkin cowbois. The dueling mechanic is a nice pace changer too, where you have to focus on two control schemes and action time.

Do you like digging? Do you like robots? What if I was to say if you combined them, you get an amazing game? YES YOU HEARD ME. I should open my open publishing company. I digress. This game is fun and it's only about 3-4 hours long depending on your ability to dig. I've seen people dig before, one time I saw this guy vitaly dig down a hole, and fell without light, and he died. It was remarkable funny. Where as I? Oh steamworld dig. It's got a great artstyle, tight controls and great level layouts, what more could you ask for? I guess laser beams. But it does have explosions.
