altogether, as a longtime player, the game lacks care and new content is being pushed out in order to try save the game instead of fixing the broken parts of the game

edit #1: they made a paid map dlc free, gave you a soundtrack "dlc" worth half of the original dlc's cost, and then shortly afterwards, released a new dlc and is now charging $30 for it.
this is by far the worst handling of expansion content i've seen from any game company, ever.
oh also, movement bug i mentioned earlier is STILL not fixed, 9 months later this review was initially written, so my closing statement prior to this edit, is still accurate.

great game

i updated this review as a result of this dumpster fire of a game they call CS2, it's riddled with cheaters with continous promises that "VAC live will ban cheaters mid match", mf i dont think ive seen anyone from my games even get banned weeks later, despite literally spinbotting LMFAO

this game is a joke and a weak shell of it's former glory.
