This game is an opportunity to take a break from all the dopamine-inflicted games (which I enjoy a lot). Yes, you won't get a dozen rewarding mechanics - only a few. You won't get flashy screens - maybe 'cool' old-style animations just now and then instead. However, when played with the right mood and for the first time (like I did) - you are just entering an atmospheric journey for at least 10+ hours (as I judge by my current progress) with many mechanics, peculiarities, and secrets to explore.

You really should try this game.

And it's really easy to install widescreen/compatibility fixes.
