My Steam Deck has arrived! Looks like I'll be spending more time here again!

One of my new years resolutions was to try to primarily use open source software and games that are either open source or DRM-free when I can. So, the majority of my new game purchases have been on GoG

I've been been on a Blizzard kick, playing tons of Overwatch, D2, and vanilla WoW recently.. I swear I'll come back soon

I've gone back to playing a lot of old games recently, including Enemy Territory, Diablo2, SWTOR, and am making my way through Dragon Age Inquisition. So if you're wondering where I've been at, it's probably one of those games :)

D2 had PVP, D3 does not
D2 had 8 person co-op, D3 does not
D2 had transmutable/upgradable potions so you can use the low ones, D3 does not
D2 allowed you to run multiple acts in 1 game, D3 does not
D2 had a ladder for added competition, D3 does not
D2 HC allowed another player to get your gear after you died, D3 does not
D2 allowed any class to use any weapon (if stat points were high enough), D3 does not

D2 > D3

I still love D2 more than most things... but i feel that once I break even in the RMAH in D3 that i'll be having even more fun because i won't care at all about what happens with my reg or HC chars.

i kinda wish blizz and valve would buddy up for sc2 and d3... i want native support and steam acheivements. and steam + bnet would be tits... i'd love to be able to invite people to a lobby through steam
