Overall, this is a solid follow-up to the Portal series. While there are certainly a few downsides such as too many repetitive moments it was still an enjoyable experience. The gameplay kept me engaged, and I appreciated the effort that went into creating this game. Completing it took me around six hours. All in all, despite its minor flaws, it’s a worthy addition to the Portal universe!

Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a true testament to what a dedicated player base can achieve. Despite being released in 2007 and lacking major updates in recent years, TF2 continues to thrive, boasting a larger active player base than many newer titles, including Overwatch 2. This enduring popularity speaks to the game’s rich variety of gameplay modes, unique classes, and humorous, colorful art style that keeps players coming back.

The charm of TF2 lies in its vibrant community and the sheer amount of content created by its players. From custom maps and mods to fan-made items, the community keeps the game alive in ways few other games can match. The casual yet competitive gameplay strikes a perfect balance, making it appealing to both new and veteran players. Whether you’re diving into a chaotic Capture the Flag round or strategizing in Payload matches, TF2 offers endless fun with a simplicity that’s increasingly rare.

In contrast to many modern games with frequent, sometimes disruptive, updates, TF2 has a stability that is refreshing. Fans of this game appreciate the consistency, and, in a way, the absence of major updates has allowed players to create their own experiences and keep the game exactly how they like it.

Ultimately, Team Fortress 2 has achieved what many games strive for: a legacy.

DayZ is a game where I’ve spent countless hours, mainly on modded servers, and it’s perfect if you don’t mind sacrificing free time and love exploring empty landscapes in search of something or someone. The game is a true test of patience and resilience – every death means starting over and gathering loot from scratch. The thrill comes from the unforgiving nature of the game; the moment you manage to eliminate another player, you’ve taken away a solid chunk of their time. Trust no one here – everyone is out for themselves, which makes every interaction a tense, unpredictable experience.

PUBG is an iconic battle royale that really set the standard for the genre, but it’s held back by some pretty major performance issues. The game's optimization has been a point of frustration for years; it feels like it could run smoothly on older systems, but instead, it often struggles even on decent hardware. If PUBG were better optimized, it could likely attract a much larger player base—even pulling in some Fortnite fans who might be looking for a different type of experience. The high hardware demand almost seems intentional, making the game feel more exclusive or aimed at powerful rigs. Despite this, PUBG has a unique intensity and gameplay style that keep it engaging and worth the occasional FPS drop.

And, of course, the skins for female characters are an absolute win!

1,000 hours in CS
I feel like I've already experienced a lot of what CS2 aims to be. Valve has rebuilt the game on a new engine, promising a more modern, feature-rich experience. Things like the addition of charms and updated graphics are certainly nice touches, but I can’t help but question if it was worth all the waiting and the compromises players had to endure over the past year.

We’ve been through games riddled with bugs, cheaters, and even bans for simple console commands. For so long, CS
felt well-balanced and familiar, a game that didn’t need drastic changes. Yet, here we are with CS2—a fresh coat of paint, but it’s hard to say if it’s truly the evolution players wanted or just a repackaging of something that was already great.
