Forza Horizon 5 is not merely a game; it’s a symphony of speed and splendour, a vivid celebration of the open road and the artistry of automotive design. Set against the sun-kissed splendour of Mexico, it captures not just a place but the soul of exploration and adventure.

The first thing to strike you is the sheer beauty of it all. The landscape is painted with a palette that feels almost romantic—deserts that stretch into infinity, jungles that teem with verdant life, and bustling cities where tradition meets modernity. The graphics are a feast for the eyes, every detail lovingly rendered, from the glint of sunlight on your car's bonnet to the delicate dust that clings to your tyres after a spirited sprint through the wilderness, especially if you max out on the graphics.

And oh, the cars! Each vehicle is a sculpture, a living piece of engineering art. Whether you’re piloting a sleek hypercar at breakneck speeds or revelling in the nostalgic growl of a classic muscle car, every machine is an invitation to fall in love with. The physics are sublime—authentic without being punishing—giving you the freedom to truly express yourself behind the wheel. I tell myself that some day I'll be getting a wheel so I can truly enjoy the game and expand on its full potential.

The festival atmosphere is contagious. There's a jubilant energy coursing through every race and event, a sense that you're part of something greater—a carnival of car culture. The Horizon series has always had a knack for celebrating diversity, and this iteration feels more inclusive than ever, showcasing the rich tapestry of Mexican culture with reverence and exuberance.

But perhaps what sets Forza Horizon 5 apart is its accessibility. Whether you're a seasoned petrolhead or a casual driver seeking escapism, the game welcomes you with open arms. The adaptive AI, customisable difficulty, and intuitive mechanics ensure everyone can find their groove. And let us not forget the online component—a joyous dance of competition and camaraderie that brings the world to your console.

Of course, no work is without its minor flaws. There are occasional hiccups in matchmaking, and some might find the sheer volume of content daunting. But these are mere ripples in an otherwise unblemished ocean of brilliance.

Forza Horizon 5 is not just a game for car enthusiasts; it’s a love letter to freedom, creativity, and the human desire to explore. It’s a canvas on which to paint your own automotive dreams. For those who dare to venture onto its roads, the rewards are boundless.

In a word: magnificent.

I want to start with a straight recommendation!
Don't even think to download an play this game, and if you are already into it, just uninstall it... and here is why:

All these positive reviews are actually valid untill the patch 0.17-0.19 i believe... after 0.19 the playerbase started to fell off, and the patch 1.0 was the limit for me and I'm pretty sure for the majority of the players as well.

1. Developers don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the community
2. Developers only care to hold the playerbase in place and make them never achieve the game completion, thus leading them to play more and more.
3. Devs are making a lot of money, and they are tuning the game to earn even more with every patch.
4. Every step closer to the completion of the game, is a lie. It's only a matter of "patch", when u'll realize you were fked, and you gotta start all over again.

I wasted a lot of time on this, i played it when it was only a browser game. So this makes more than 2 years, only 400+ days i've spent it on steam since the first ascension so believe me i know what i'm talking.

If you really want to try it just move to the community hub and read the patch notes and the feedback to it, and you'll see it for yourself, the reality of the game and the attitude of the devs.

I tought i'd never see a more greedy company than Riot Games with it's free to play game, never was I so wrong... I just didn't know Playsaurus exists.

First game back in '99, I loved so much! and i was like really hoping that they will launch a second one, and finally they did.

Overall, this game is 10 times beter than the first one, not too much about the graphics but anyway, they are still better.
One thing i didn't like about it, it's that it was short, i mean like really they could off ripped some extra script and stuff. not much work to do

Either way for those who played the first part and liked it... it is a must buy
