I played this game for 32 hours over 3 days to finish it whilst on my holiday from work, and I do not regret it one bit. If anything, the only problem I have with this game is that now it makes me want to go back and replay Automata. The soundtrack is fantastic, the game looks great and the story is both heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time. I played with the Japanese VA with English subtitles as the mouth desync with the English dub threw me off, and it was so worth it. Fantastic VA the whole way through, really drawing me in to every single scene and making me extra invested.

I never played the original so I cannot speak to how much better it is, but for me this is on far with Automata. If you liked that game, and for some reason you were unsure about this one, do it. You will not regret it.

This game led to me spending an entire weekend decompiling the source code, obsessively trying to figure out the endings with a group of people in a crazy discord server that won't stop growing. 10/10 would recommend.

P.S. Game is actually very good too, best one released yet! Definitely buy this for heartbreak and nostalgia.

Mirror's Edge is a game I would recommend anybody looking for something different should try. On your first try it can last about 5 to 6 hours, but once you get better you find more paths through levels, and can bring that down to 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is one of the main joys of the game, is the replayability as you explore to find quicker ways through the levels. The story is not very strong, but it is easily ignored and only really needs to give a vague setting as to why you are in a certain area. The running feels very solid and responsive, and the game runs very smoothly.
The only real issue I have with the game is that there are a few parts in which you need to partake in the difficult combat system. Most are avoidable, but there are some forced fights which can get rather tedious, as this is a game where you are supposed to run and flow smoothly from wall to wall, floor to floor, so stopping in order to fight takes away from the real strong point of the game.
All in all, if you want something different, then I highly recommend Mirror's Edge, if you enjoy platforming, especially in the first person perspective, and for £10, its worth every penny.

This is an incredible game. You need to just set aside an entire 24 hours and play one or two games of this in a row, its an insanely fun turn-based strategy. I don't really like turn-based strategies, but this game is just fantastic, the detail that you can go to in customising your Civilisation is amazing, and you eventually find a style/empire that you are most comfortable playing as! Highly recommend this game to anyone, it changed my mind about turn-based strategies, it might with you too!

This is a hilariously fun driving game, that works incredibly well with a steering wheel and pedals. The game is okay with a keyboard, but honestly I would only recommend it with the wheel and pedals, as you get the full experience that this game has to offer, and flying around in a rally type car along the streets of this city, trying not to crash and looking for jumps, excellent fun. I also like the fact that this game accepts it is just a silly racing game, and doesn't try to add a storyline that it didn't need. It just has races, eliminations etc, and is good fun, totally recommend!

I love this game. It is a great short game based on the individual victims of the Japanese Tsunami. It won't take more than 20 minutes to complete, but it has a lot of replayablility, as the art-styling is fantastic, and the message from the game is very touching. In just the 15 minutes it took me to complete it, it really got across the point that it is so easy for media to put large numbers on disasters these days, but you don't think of the individual people. If you like games such as Proteus, you will like this.

This game. Well, what can you say about it. It is a fantastically difficult dungeon crawler, where you play as a young boy chased by his Mother into the monster infested basement because God told her to kill him. I think that pretty much sets up this game perfectly, it is weird, hard, but unbelievable fun, and incredibly addicting. Do not start playing this game if you have something urgent to do, because you will get into it and forget, trust me, just play this game when you have spare time!

This is a fantastic and beautiful game, if you are a fan of sidescrolling platformers, along with games that are very hack and slash, then you will love this game. Adorable anime style animation, excellent and interesting plotline, and a wide selection of interesting characters. Sometimes the boss battles can get a bit frustrating, but apart from that, I highly recommend this game.
