It's fun, but wait to buy it. Right now there isn't much to do in this game but play team deathmatch and capture the flag, which is definitely fun, don't get me wrong, but it's just very basic and there's almost nobody else playing. They're working on stuff like a zombies gamemode and a co-op campaign, so, assuming they'd put more money into advertising at that point so more people play, it'd be best to get the game then.

Great game but ends so frustratingly quickly. Everything felt like it was supposed to go on for longer but it doesn't. Pretty much every concept of the game is used only while you learn it and a little while afterwards and then it's rarely used. The story is easy to miss and even if you pour over every detail it still doesn't really explain what exactly you're trying to do or why.

I'd still play the game but just keep all that in mind.

The game is insanely fun at times. Other times, it's the most frustrating, grindy game I've ever played.
There was no advertising this game releasing anywhere other than their own discord, so there's only bots and sweats that played the entire time during the betas. They (at least I think so) deliberately make people get frustrated and sweat more by making the announcers call out and joke about your team specifically, to everyone, if you're last place or get your team wiped.
All they really did between betas is add a single map on top of only 2 (made up of random pieces of the 2 existing maps), lock almost every fun gun or equipment and add a battlepass no one asked for.
They should've called this game done on the second beta and released it.

whatever good time you think you're going to get out of this game, you're not going to get

it is a buggy unplayable mess. and i say this with 300ish hours of Cyberpunk 2077. I bought that game like 5 days after release and that was still a playable experience, granted without amazing performance. but when i bought this game on launch day, i literally could not even see my enemies. if i ever got a kill, which i dont even remember if i did, it was pure luck or the enemy having the same graphical hiccup as i am.

and it doesnt even stop there

why do you have to unlock attachments?
why is the only thing that lets other factions stand out is a differently colored glowstick on each person?
why is there no destruction?
why is there so few weapons compared to bfv, bf1 and bf3?
why are you, on foot, powerless against a vehicle if you dont have the m2 recoilless actively equipped?
why is there no singleplayer campaign and, as a result of this, absolutely no explanation of what you're even fighting for?
why is random bullet deviation, hitreg and the netcode in general so shıtty?
why is there no range, scoreboard or all chat?
why is there only 7 maps?
why is there no indication of where you're being shot from?
why do people with top of the line setups get pıss poor performance?

i could go on and on and on with how many problems this game has but i think you get the point.

its bad. not even a "lets see just how bad it is" kinda bad. dont give dice a cent of your money for this game.

guns and enemies are awesome, just a shame that theres only 3 levels except for the tutorial, and multiplayer is completely dead.

worst matchmaking ive ever seen in a game. itll take (if you dont keep resetting it every five minutes) around 30 minutes and will put you in a team with same level or lower players that'll never check the chat even if their lives depended on it. oh, and the eu servers are about 3x as fast as the us servers so its a gamble if your teammates even speak english. you'll get put against players with way higher skill level than you, with weapons that are locked behind pay or play walls, while you have garbage guns. not like buying better guns is even worth it when theyll still be better than you anyways.

sure, the guns are nice. they feel good. sure, theres games with better guns and games with worse guns but these are pretty good.

but because you're not just going to be doing the tutorial to play the game, and theres no practice games with bots, dont even bother. if they update the game and fix the matchmaking, ill rewrite my review, but for now it stands

I don't mean any hate to the devs in this review.

I really wanted to like this game. I really did. But i just can't. It feels so empty and barebones. Everything feels like it was from an asset pack, nothing feels original to the game. Npc ai is garbage, going in a single direction unless it sees an enemy then which it'll walk directly towards it and attack. Guns don't have the kick to them to make them feel good. Gameplay itself is boring and straightforward, at least for the 2 hours i played it as i rewrite this review. Go to one place. Press E. Click to take all. Repeat until the game is done. Above all else, there's nothing to make it stand out amongst other survival games.

And if you thought you could suffer with someone else together, well, I hate to break it to you, but the all time peak of this game is 15 players. I didn't forget a zero. That's 2 digits. And when I rewrite this review, the 24 hour peak is 6 . Yeah. The only reason I played this game for more than an hour is just to see if I could find somebody else playing at all.

If the devs made this game really something other than just a sci fi survival game, then maybe people would consider it.

Probably the least serious scp game ive ever played.

I love it
