Early Access Review
This game is one of the most addicting pieces of art I've ever played. It's such a good game to play, you can focus and chill at the same time, no strings attached. Maybe just keep it up in the background while you queue for a multiplayer game. 1 minute waves are literally the perfect amount of time. I'd dare say it may be the best $5 you spend this year... maybe of all time. I highly recommend!

Short but sweet here - it's atmospheric, challenging, and is definitely reminiscent of the old-school Doom games. It certainly scratches the shooter-platformer itch for me!

I'm so glad to finally play this game! I backed it on Kickstarter years ago, and I waited patiently for the release. It's quirky, fun, and has a unique art style and attitude. I'm taking my time with this one, I really want to enjoy it. So far so good! I'd definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a casual game to sit down and enjoy like a good book.

Reigns is my go-to chill game. Very quirky and fun, it's a good time waster but very entertaining for how small and simple it is. I'd highly recommend this or any of the Reigns games!

Tomb Raider has been one of my favorite game series since I was a kid - the last two games (especially the first) were exceptional in my eyes; Great retellings that brought just enough of the heart of the original games from the 90's. SotTR was a good game, but it felt rushed, cramped, and a bit underwhelming. Did I enjoy myself while playing? Yes. Was it worthy of the first title? No, at least not in my opinion.

This game was beautiful (as they typically are), the new areas were interesting, the characters were well thought out.. but it had it's issues as well. Stutter issues (I'd suggest everybody set the game priority to high to avoid this), some issues with invisible walls when fighting enemies, and as I mentioned earlier.. it felt rushed and short. There were some incredible moments and some very anticlimactic moments, both of which I won't spoil. What sort of soured my opinion of the game was that my playthroughs of the initial two TR games were easily 40+ hours and it was fun hunting achievements.. but with SotTR, I finished in 16 hours and I had no real urge to work on getting all of the achievements; Definitely a bit lackluster in terms of time value.

Overall, still a good game in my eyes. Pick it up on same and enjoy yourself for a while. For the purposes of this review, I'm giving it a 6.5/10. Had I not experienced the other two titles, I think it may have gotten a 7 (sorry for the bias here!). That being said, I still enjoyed it enough to recommend.

Dying Light has been in my library for quite some time. I put over 40 hours into it and never even finished the main storyline. Fun combat, great audio, interesting and fairly immersive world. I might not be a pro DL player, but I still enjoy hopping on and running around killing zombies.

Solid 8/10 game. Keep the updates coming!

I have had this game sitting in my Steam library for what seems like forever. PSN recently offers it for free - hurray for trophies, easy platinum right? I had an open mind at the beginning of Life if Strange, but by the end, I just wanted to uninstall it.. and I did. Poor writing, cliches, little cohesion, questionable music choices, etc... I was just disappointed all the way around, even for free. My advice after playing all the way through until the end? DO NOT waste your money. If you want to play a good decision-based game, look at a TellTale series game.

A short but sweet review for a short but sweet game; Type:Rider is a simple and delicate platformer type game - great for the casual gamer! It involves some clever physics mechanics, it's very pretty to look at and listen to, little to no learning curve so it's quite easy to play, and you may even learn a thing or two about the history of typography (font) while playing. It's a little bundle of quality craftsmanship from the developers/designers, you can tell a lot of love went into the game.

It's affordable as it is, and if you see it on sale, go ahead and grab it. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody.

8/10. Enjoy!

I was skeptical starting this game, I didn't expect much from it. What I got was an overall impressive gave with a fairly awesome storyline to boot. *No spoilers here*.

The combat is pretty intense and seems very fluid, the visuals are quite nice, and the soundtrack is great. I enjoyed nearly every moment of the game as I was playing, and though it was short, it was sweet. There are a few moments that seemed a bit rushed and choppy, but in the larger scale of things, they're minor issues. If you pay close attention while playing, there are subtle surprises throughout the entire game that simply made me want to sit back and appreciate the work that went into creating this game. Seeing as Spec Ops: The Line is a bit old and outdated now, you may actually be pleasantly surprised if you decided to purchase and check it out.

8.5/10 -- I'd definitely recommend and will continue to play for SnG's. :D

Since it's on sale at the moment (Steam Summer Sale 2014), I figured I'd write a quick review. Alice: Madness Returns is a solid game. Stunning and imaginative scenery, spine-tingling music, good combat and platformer elements, witty, creepy, and in general fun to play. I've got a boat load of time logged on the game, granted, I believe a decent amount is on pause... >.>... but that's between you and I; However, it really is a fun game that you can lose yourself in. The boss fights are very spiffy, can be challenging (which is a bonus IMO), and the pace of the game is good. Little to no learning curve, you just hop right in and start killing things. Combat throughout the game changes as you get new weapons, so there's a bit of variety as the game progesses. Also, get your screenshot trigger finger ready, because there's plenty of awesome stuff to snap pics of while you're playing!

If you haven't, consider playing the original game as well. American McGee & Spicy Horse did a kickass job on both games, and they're both definitely worth having in your arsenal of games.

Solid 9/10. One of my faves. Just a unique game everybody should try at least once.
