Well before the game's release, I came across information about the game by chance and was intrigued. I was both leery of it and excited, reading ConcernedApe's updates whenever they came lit a fire under me and as the game came closer to release I was itching to sink my teeth into it.

The first moments of playing SDV was like coming home. It was warm and familiar, from the art to the characters, everything felt right. I could feel the love poured into it. There are so many little details lovingly added in every corner of the game. Knowing that it was all made by one person, from the ground up because he just wanted it so badly, just makes it all the more impressive.
