Story was awesome! This game is pretty and full of pretty people and my favourite fighting game franchise.
I love the lounge, the social element is really charming and cool.

Ngl I was gonna hit negative and swapped over about 4 times.
This game is so weird man I wanna hate it but I always come back to it's like a toxic ex. Despite all of that and despite it not being what it once was, with some acceptance of that I can still have fun on this game.
Blizzard were weird, nothing needs to be said about that. I don't like the route they went with removing loot boxes that can be earned in game to mid battle passes but if you're an OG player you prob already have skins so just enjoy what you have. Totally didn't casually drop a load on the LE SSERAFIM bundle anyway..that was a one off...doesn't make it right though. But it's the norm now.

Truth be told I never cared for the PvE myself BUT that doesn't mean I'm not disappointed that it never came and it's totally understandable why people were dissatisfied considering the hype up to OW2 actually turning out to be an overhaul.

This community is sooooo toxic though, these absolute man childs will blame anyone and tell them to un-alive themselves if it makes them feel a tiny bit better about how bad THEY'RE playing. The ones who screech at you on voice comms or text chat all game need to get some therapy and touch some grass, go outside bro. Way too many think they are HIM. If you feel like this might be you then go and play CoD or some other brain rot game.
Also it feels like there's no difference between playing quickplay and ranked so might as well play for gold weapons or something..people are gonna flame anyway.

ONLY BUY THIS ON SALE!!!!! I don't mess with Ultimate team because I don't feel like playing gacha on a football game. Got it for like 20 quid so I can COPE and replace Erik Ten Hag. A lot of elements (At least in player and manager career modes) if not all have been copy pasted from Fifa 23, same cutscenes and everything. Some player models have been updated and look good, others look weird or nothing like the actual player. For Højlund they just stuck some blond looking guy in and called it a day, this is Man Utd's main striker rn..he plays very realistically tho because it took me ages to score as him in the Premiere League, AT LEAST I'VE ACTUALLY MANAGED TO DO IT 💀
Don't buy Fifa every year unless it goes on sale, it's literally just an update with a slight overhaul let's be real.

NEGATIVE: MW3 Campaign looks the part but was written by ChatGBT, like chewing bubblegum with no flavour.
Let's hope multiplayer is worth £60

This is genuinely the most fun rhythm game that I have played and one of the only games that releases serotonin while I play and not just dopamine with a fake sense of accomplishment, I'm actually achieving something by just playing and that's being more active. Some of us don't like working out, not because we're lazy but our brain isn't stimulated in the right way, this game gets me warmed up other workouts while I'm not even consciously thinking about that at the time, but the glow I can feel after playing is definitely noticeable. This is a must have if you get into VR, can be enjoyed at any difficulty/skill level.
I will say at a higher skill level this game presents more of a wrist workout than anything but if you put your body into it for some songs that you just find fun, you can definitely get a good workout from this game.

I love the concept this game brings and it has great potential.
If you wanna have some spooky fun with friends then I totally recommend this game.

On the flip side it would be cool to see some added lore for maps and ghosts or even the characters you play as to add some much needed charm to the game, as I said previously it's really fun but gets dry as soon as you're able to guess ghosts really fast and easily because the tension doesn't hit you in the same way anymore, I usually take a break when this happens, it would be good to get some story or lore to add some depth to the game when the spooks start to wear off.

Even with those gripes in mind, I still think it's super fun and enjoyable.

Is this a fun MMO? More or less, lower level combat can be a bit boring after leveling several jobs. Is this a fun Final Fantasy game? Definitely.

Once you're max level, the combat feels engaging. Maybe slight gripe with the 2 min damage burst meta, it can make some classes feel too similar, wish there could be a bit more variety with that.

^^ This being said, this game can be played in a casual way without needing to know rotations, it is probably helpful to know these by the time you hit endgame though because that is where a player may choose to progress to engage with savage (harder/more calculated) content and beyond.

A Realm Reborn is a good tutorial if you're new to mmos but can be a be stale on a replay.

After that the story gets really good.

Heavensward is amazing.

Stormblood while having some pacing issues in the story, it's adds a lot of bonus content, the raids are really good.

Shadowbringers, in my opinion might be the best expansion, awesome story, OST, raids and one of the best moments I've seen in a Final Fantasy game.

Endwalker, very close to Shadowbringers, really good climax to the story, makes me excited to for what is to come.
