As a long time Diablo 2 player, this is the first game to have really come close to scratching that itch. Plays great on the Deck once you get used to the controls. There is also an expansion coming out in 2025, nine years after the original release!

Played through everything on a Steam Deck doing two player couch coop and it was a wonderful experience! Very addicting, and the 20-30 minute play times are great when you don't have time for a longer session.

My only nitpick is the meta progression. Once you have unlocked more characters and weapons, the runs can become quite trivial. If I can get good items in the first few minutes, I usually find myself on autopilot just running down the clock. To the developer's credit, there are powerups available to increase the difficulty. But the onus is still on yourself to use them or choose non optimal character / item combinations. However, it's still a very fun way to pass the time!

Although not as deep as traditional roguelikes, the pleasant spritework, humour, and skills based gameplay are very satisfying. Great post release support and the developers are very open to modding. If you like roguelikes, this game is worth the 5 bucks.

"Just crossin streams with my homie"

Coop in this game is amazing. It's chaotic, flashy, and generally crazy. Friendly fire makes for some interesting situations, especially when thunderbold hits the wrong target. The spell system is rather ingenious, simple to grasp yet with many complex options and combinations. The campaign itself is comedic, with movie references and general satire of the RPG genre.

The only downside is rather intermittent lag in multiplayer that noone could figure out the source of.

Definitely worth the price if you have some friends to play it with.

Simple arcade-y fun. It's like Soldat with planes.
