Central Fiction is not just the fourth installment of the same game you already purchased trice. It also is the most casual friendly entry of the series so far. Blazblue is not just about fighting, it features a rich and deep anime trope heavy but engaging story as well as various game modes to keep you busy.

Arcade & Story
Arcade and Story Mode is one of the three staples the series got to offer. Spread across multiple chapters and up to 3 acts per characters arcade mode, it’s a story rich and short timed experience.

The second staple of the series are the Additional Modes, Abyss, Score Attack and Speedstar Mode.

Abyss
Central Fiction’s Abyss is by far the best iteration of the Abyss yet. It combines the infamous Unlimited Mars with the Chronophantasmas Abyss Mode. Eight 100 depths deep stages need to be conquered. By defeating opponents you unlock grimoires to equip and items and skills to upgrade them, as well as gaining experience to level up, which makes you stronger in overcoming later stages. A specific amount of bosses in the formerly unlimited mars called boss rush mode also needs to be reached to progress even further.

Score Attack
The score attack is back. This time with various difficulties and courses to go through. Which gives us casuals the chance to adjust the difficulty to our skillevel, unlike the previous iterations that were too hard

Speedstar
It’s some sort of survival mode in which you take on the timer while having infinite health. By using special attacks and maneuvers you can regain seconds on the timer. If you run out of time before defeating the last opponent you have to start over.

Competitive
The third staple includes the competitive online features. Face other players in ranked battle or customize your room and gamertag with avatars, furniture and more to invite other players for a tea party with cookies and even more fighting!

In Blazblue Central Fiction is something to be found for everyone. So hook up your gamepad onto your PC and enjoy yourself.

Arcade Twin Stick Shooter Fun! The game wins through its simplicity. Wraith being the first game I played of the series. Lose a lot, get better, own em all! It sharpens your reflexes. Pickup and play and have fun!

I started using a controller but found out that the analog stick used to move the crosshair always resets back to face into the lower-right corner when the stick is not pushed into a certain direction. So I tried the almighty mouse aim and it was much better to aim and shoot.
Playing with WASD is not very healthy for my hand so I combined using the analog stick for moving around while aiming with the mouse, which improved me playing the game.
In very few cases, players are plagued by framerate issues or like me by hickups, where the screen freezes for a milisecond. But I guess in 9 out of 10 cases players have a smooth experience with the game.
Maybe some of these issues can be addressed in an updated version? I still highly recommend the game if you want to kill some spare minutes.

Watched my wife play it a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on her Xbox Live Arcade back in the day. It's exactly how you imagine it to be. Endless twin-stick shooter fun in a single stage. The more you progress, the more obstacles are on screen. If you're looking for a game that can fill some spare minutes or two, then look no further.

What is the essence of Resident Evil? Capcom asked. Resident Evil is the right balance between horror and action. They finally realized and deliver the perfect reinvention of the series since RE4.

I was very skeptical when Capcom announced RE7 at first. I called it just another bad first-person horror game that only tries to gather to all the awful youtubers and streamers that play this genre of games with facecam, while screaming like little girls that cry because someone stole their lolipop. But Resident Evil 7 is more than that. It is an undeniable return to form. The only thing that changed here is the perspective: First Person.

You explore a small isolated Mansion while solving puzzles and running from monsters. The mansion itself grows on you. You soon know it so well that you can solve its challenges very quickly in subsequent playthroughs. That is Resident Evil.
You run into monsters but you don’t have enough ammo to deal with all of them. So you run away, hide or dodge them to conserve ammo. There are a few monsters, but when they show up, you get scared. That is Resident Evil.
You fight gigantic mutated super bosses in epic bossbattles. At this point, you feel it and you scream: THIS IS RESIDENT EVIL!

The second half of the game is when the game starts to become even more survival horror. In the truest sense of the phrase: You fight for survival! At this point nobody can deny anymore that this is the Resident Evil game me and all the other longtime fans ever wished for. And the great thing is that even those casual facecam youtubers, streamers and their fans can enjoy the game and get a run for their money. So throw money at Capcom and buy the game. They deserve it. Recommended!

Less than 2 hours of content, easy to get achievements but overprized trading cards as suspected for a nieche product like NEKOPARA Vol.0.

The story tells a day in the life of the kittens in the household of Vol.1's protagonist. Waking up, making breakfast, doing the laundry, watching TV or making dinner are the essential "plotpoints" of this VN. It's a cute little game with some sexual inuendos but nothing too explicit. And here is the problem: The game is not very explicit and not all of the kittens get the same attention. If I buy a game with the tags sexual content, erotic and for mature audiences then I at least expect to get some of that. I still enjoyed the cuteness of the game. The animations are great. I wouldn't say I wasted my time but overall I'd say you buy it on extremely low discount for the achievments and trading cards if u want.

Nothing has changed much. It’s still the same JRPG that got the same game systems working in the background as the Re;Birth branded titles. But there are enough changes here that seem to rebalance those systems, so much that the game as a whole resulted in being a more refined, more tactical and once again enjoyable gaming experience.

For the 4rd time you play as teenage girls having an adventure by progressing the story trough reading VN-Events, by visiting dungeons, fighting monsters and collecting items. With story being a big focus of the game again, the writers finally found the middleground between the too serious written Re;Birth2 and the over the top hilarious humour of Re;Birth3. The girls act surprisingly close to their characters this time which works in favour of story progression. Dialogs no longer sidetrack into what seemed like endlessly going on walls of texts with bad jokes.

What are the most interesting additions to the gameplay now? Stella’s Dungeon is no more. Scouts are now implemented into the maingame and can add certain bonuses to the dungeons you visit. Higher Droprate, Monster Change, more EXP, less Credits, etc. You also no longer just warp between Nations on the overworld map. Instead you have to walk along a path with random encounters between Dungeons and Points of Interest. The Investment system is a great addition too: You can upgrade each nation thus adding more items to the shops, to find additional scouts or to increase the nation’s shares.

Combat is tighter than ever! Bye bye 9999 damage! The Guard Break System got removed. Combos now consist of Standard, Power and Rush attacks that activate combo bonuses when specific criteria are met, like “didn’t used power”, “last attack was rush” and so on. Each weapon starts out with one of those three attack types and combos need to be set up according to their combo bonuses for maximum damage effect. There is also a higher priority on items now because status effects occur more frequently.

What’s not so good about the game? No NewGame+ or Endgame content! Re;Birth3 had up to 2 hours more VN-events to watch and more dungeons with worthwhile loot to offer. Victory II does not. You can level up your characters to level 999 again but with only a single mob available to you that gives 10million EXP. To reach the golden 999 the game requires you to fight this single mob over 5000 times or more. Not an elegant solution.

The character DLCs are great because they add new characters with their very own VN-Events and story. The downside is that those characters are so overpowered that they break the tight balance of the game. My advice, use them in NewGame+. Weapon and Item DLCs include even more content to break the balance while Nightwear and Bikini DLC just add cosmetic changes.

Victory II is a tight game, even more so without the use of DLCs. The characters are loveable and the humour marvelous. Expect lots of anime tropes and popculture references. Don’t regret buying if you love anime, JRPG’s or cute girls doing cute things.

This is the third subjective, unbiased and totally unfunny review yet again but for HyperD Nep VGen. Nothing has changed. It’s still a JRPG trough and trough. For the third time you play teenager girls having an adventure by visiting dungeons, fighting monsters while they attempt to break the 4th wall to make fun of popculture and videogames.

And this time the writing is back to form. The girls take nothing serious and get sidetracked a lot by talking nonsense even in front of impending doom. And It’s gloriously entertaining! Some of the situations the girls find themselves in are so hilariously stupid that they become good again.

The same gameplay pattern too? Yes! Follow the story as visual novel, go to dungeon, fight monsters, beat boss, continue, Repeat! New is that instead of a single overhead worldmap, the world is separated into small subscreens. Some of them get unlocked by going into a dungeon from one side and leaving trough the other. Clever!

Stella’s Dungeon, the spelunker mini game, is also back. And unlike the previous version (which forced me to not 100% the last game) it’s fast, more complex, yet simplified. There is still a gigantic amount of items to craft, to loot and use but it won’t bulldozer over you because the devs finally added a feature to check which monster, in which dungeon drops which item: Making the constant alt-tabbing to a browser window to check the games wikipedia obsolete.

The combat system got changed a tiny bit as well. You can’t spam superattacks anymore, cuz actionpoints don’t automatically refill when leaving a dungeon. Actionpoints need to be gathered by attacking monsters with rush attacks. Makes the combat much more challenging. But overall it stays the exact same. Yay for animation-skip-button!

Shares of the nations no longer come into play to progress the story. The 3 possible endings will be triggered by watching optional VN-events. There is more details to it, but please check one of the dozens guides that explain how to get the endings. Thanks!

The humour is marvelous, all characters loveable, all essential DLC’s are already integrated into the game without any additional purchase. This is the game Rebirth 1+2 should’ve ben from begin with. Without second thought, I recommend V Generation to those that like the prequels or JRPG's in general.

Here is another subjective, unbiased and totally unfunny review but this time for HyperD Nep SisGen. The second game is once again a JRPG through and through. Once again you play teenager girls having an adventure by visiting dungeons, fighting monsters while they attempt to break the 4th wall to make fun of popculture and videogames. But ths time the writing is not as clever and entertaining. It got a much more serious tone that doesnt surprise as much as previously.

The gameplay is largely the same and follows the usual pattern: follow the story as visual novel, go to dungeon, fight monsters, beat boss, continue, Repeat! With the only difference being that you can now control 4 instead of 3 girls during combat and the added bonus game called Stella's Dungeon. A mini Spelunker game to get extra items and stuff, BECAUSE...
...the gigantic amount of items to craft, to loot and use once again bulldozers over you without remorse or regret. Without the use of itemlists and wiki-page it will be a tedious process.

For a detailed explanation how combat works, read my review for HyperD Nep 1 http://steamproxy.net/steamstore/recommended/recommendgame/282900

After finishing the first game and loving the combat system, here it began to show its chore. I was oversaturated by it and just held down the button to skip animations to grind away. Not 3 but 7! endings can be unlocked but since Lily-Rank now plays a big part in it, you have to do tedious grinding to get the right rank levels that corespond to the right ending requirements.

Shares between the Nations now also plays into what ending you can see, as well as watching or not watching certain nation's events. Further complicated to get the ending is that you won't play all of the girls at the same time. You meet the sisters, but they won't join you until very late in the game. For example you meet Black Sister at level 20 for a single dungeon, then she dissapears for a very long time and joins you for a boss fight where she dies constantly because of not having leveled up.

The humour is not as good, the gameplay is largely the same, the ending conditions are awful and so I would only recommend the game to those people that want to have played everything!

reviewer's note:
I wanted to 100% the game, but Stella's Dungeon is no fun anymore in later stages. You can so often hit a brick wall with your head until you die (or in this case give up).

As the first visual novel I played (read) it was okay to relax when coming home from work and just wanting to read something light. The story is okay but not exciting. I smiled and laughed here and there, but that was it. There is only one decision in the VN that only leads to a few different dialogs but then returns to a linear path. There is no animation whatsoever with only sprites changing. You can expect a maximum 4hours of text for you to read. If it is on sale for like 1 or 2 EUR (how it was for me) then I recommend getting it.
