Good and creative FPS with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decisions made by the developers.
The Good:
-Lots of characters with different play style and utilities
-Destructable environment like walls and floors makes the game strategic due to its freedom of approach
The Bad:
-Despite all that, strategic plays are dwarfed by abusing game mechanics like leaning, crouching, peeker advantage making it harder and more unfair for other players who opt for a more strategic approach
-The game has multiple versions, true to Ubisoft's garbage monetization. One version locks you out of most contents in the game.
-The game at its core is pay to win. You buy the base game, have access to the base game's operators, and have to unlock the "DLC" operators with diverse utilities, or grind the in-game currency renown at a snail pace. Why even sell the game at $60 when you're going to charge for the characters that have access some of the more powerful utilities in the game?
-An unrelated notes, but operators are getting more unncessary and complicated backstories. The base game operators barely got any stories, it's either some very smart specialists or strong combatants. Now it's special snowflakes like woman who got some disease and battles it with medicine, maybe she should be a medic or something, instead of going on the field, or deadbeat dad man. You're going to shoot these guys in the heads regardless of the backstories anyway, why even care about them in the first place.
-Game is buggy, each updates bring more stuff to the table
-Developers are garbage, instead of putting efforts on getting rid of bugs and cheaters, they'd rather make a "toxicity" setting that censors words and phrases, in fear that people might have their feelings hurt, if you aren't adhere to their new rules, they'll just ban you from their services, if only you can refund this garbage
-A very flawed teamkill system, you might kill your teammates during the heat of battle. Killing over 2 times will result in a kick, getting kicked a lot will results in a ban that will increases its duration until you're banned permanently, with no ways to forgive the killer
Basically it's a good game, plagued by the developers being overly obsessed liberals who want to make the game child friendly, in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FPS.
