as someone who beat the game and got 112% completion (including pantheon of Hollownest) this game is a masterpiece. it is pretty hard at some points, but its worth it in the end

The game is quite addictive and grindy, but still fun for some people.

Rotmg is a PVE, skill based bullet hell MMO where if you die, you lose all of your stuff you worked for on the character, sometimes losing several hours of progress. The game isn't good for new players due to the game not guiding you enough and asking for money a lot. The best way to start the game is to get help from a friend that plays, or from the community. The game is also very p2w, and the chat is not moderated at all.

As someone who got the game in 2020, and played 600 hours of old Phasmophobia, this is still worth playing in 2025 mostly because of the money/prestige rework in summer 2023, you can have more things to do in the game
