Firstly - I won a giveaway for a code from one of the devs over on twitter (thank you) so that's why I'm tagging as received for free.

Solid 6/10 game. Very puzzle heavy with some inspiration taken from Portal. Definitely a game more for the puzzle fiend than the casual puzzle gamer. The difficulty level of some puzzles is quite high and I'd say the game comes with a decent learning curve.

You start with a not particularly explanatory tutorial level and progressively pick up more pieces of equipment as you move through the game, which are also not always 100% explained to you. Essentially, you are going through the game and hopping into sub-levels to connect up wires to a transporter pod before heading back to the overworld to move further through the game. It's repetitive and, for the length (I finished in around 12.5 hours), I can see a good portion of puzzle gamers wanting to put this down for a while and try something else before coming back to it. When I say the difficulty level is quite high, I'd consider myself more on the puzzle fiend level than anything else and I got stuck on 1 level for over an hour and another level for a good 30-40 minutes.

It's definitely missing some things that would be useful like level naming or numbering, a hint system or a reset button. I think all 3 of these would make navigating and solving some of the puzzles a bit easier. I'd also say it's not a game I'm in a rush to re-play at the moment. If there were some improvements added and maybe the story was explained a bit more (with less reliance on the clunky question system) I may re-play. Not my favourite puzzle game of all time but glad I got the chance to try it out. I'd still recommend to anyone wanting to try a tougher puzzle game.

I still haven't finished this yet as I'm taking my time to follow all the story and figure out all the puzzles, plus just investigating every corner of each level. So far it is the perfect sequel to The Talos Principle! When they said they were going to make a sequel I wasn't sure what they could have made it about but they have done an amazing job! It has the most beautiful world designs, the story line is deep and thought provoking without being too overly complex. Puzzles are great and gradually increase in difficulty. They've added in just enough additional aspects without it getting overwhelming, yet have also kept the original aspects that you will be very familiar with if you played the first game. You absolutely could play this as a standalone game however I absolutely recommend playing both! I have a deep love for puzzle games and the Talos Principle games are one of my all time favourites. I can't wait to finish the game and re-play it again and again like I did with the first one. Hoping for some DLC down the line and I hear they already have a plan for a 3rd one, absolutely cannot wait to see where else they can take this series. Massively deserves it's overwhelmingly positive rating. This was the first game I have ever pre-ordered and I've had absolutely no regrets. Don't walk, run to buy this if you love puzzle games with a great. deep story line!

I honestly LOVE this series so much and the 1st The Room will always be a favourite of mine from now on! I love puzzle adventures and this is perfect! Not too easy or difficult, it's just right. It has its challenges sure but that's what I love - the feeling you get after you finally work out the next step! Incredible!

So glad I bought this. Honestly never thought I would enjoy something like this but it's actually so much fun, especially when you hop into multiplayer with your friends. Love it!

Incredible! I grew up playing Harvest Moon and for the past few years I've never been impressed by any of the Harvest Moon games. This is just like Harvest Moon but even better, it's much more reminiscent of the good old days of Harvest Moon. You can lose track of time playing this so easily and it's so much fun and relaxing. The soundtrack is brilliant and I love the fact this game also has achievements. Just the most relaxing game I've played in years!

Please, please, please make a third in this series! I just got done playing both The Room and The Room Two and they are so good. Both only short but the mystery far makes up for it. The Room Two definitely has more difficult puzzles in it but both are exactly what I'm looking for in a puzzle based game. Complexity of the puzzles isn't so hard that you can't work out what you're meant to be doing and yet hard enough that they may stump you for a few minutes. You can have hints turned on though if you find it too difficult. Loved the graphics and atmosphere, loved the vagueity of the storyline, and I loved the puzzles. I would absolutely buy a third and fourth and probably fifth game in the series if they existed. I really want to get into the storyline, find out what we were doing and why we were doing it. Enough is given away in letters to keep you interested and also mildly confused at the exact nature of what you're doing. Loved every second of both games, The Room Two moreso but I did find The Room to be a great set up for The Room Two. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a short yet interesting puzzle game with a different feel than many on the market.

EDIT - I've just seen The Room Three is available on Android and iOS, buying right now!
