Avoid. Game seems fun but the support is horrible. Only buy if you want to play singleplayer.

I purchased the game to play online with a friend. Three weeks after we began playing (Sept 2020) the multiplayer server went down for three and a half weeks, with no communication from the publisher. I have to read in the Steam Forum from another player that support said the server is down for maintenance. When multiplayer finally was up again, my multiplayer account was gone. Apparently they used an old backup from 2017(!), which I have to read again on the steam forum from another player.

Now I cannot create a new multiplayer account again because I get the message "Invalid serialkey". Wrote to support and got the same unhelpful solution a second time after saying it did not help the first time.

Multiplayer for me - as of now - is dysfunctional and probably will stay that way. The game does not support old school directIP connectivity.

It's a 10 year old game that routinely sells for less than $2, what kind of support did you expect? The fact that they even bothered letting a paid employee fix this on company time puts their legacy support way above industry average.

oh like that, lol.. I actually saw they are still selling season passes for 20 euros (LOL) on their website, so if this is how they handle support for this dead game, its really bad..

well one thing: multiplayer aint even worth it.. you can get way better co-op titles for less money.. even though I paid less than an euro.. you aint missing out!

It's working for you because you bought the game new. As I said, my key has become invalid after a maintenance downtime, thus I cannot register a multiplayer account anymore. No guarantees your accounts will work should the multiplayer servers go down again at some point.

Randomly bought and tried today with a friend and it worked for us.. Seemed like there were about 8 servers running at the moment of playing..
