A pleasantly engaging story of a protagonist contemplating opposing worlds in an unfamiliar town.

Scientific rigor or local legend.
Compassion or edge.
Old love or love anew.
And most importantly, family or self.

Despite not being the target audience for a game like this, I ended up loving it! I only wish it was more immersive with its use of audio - there is only occasional somber music and ambience.

Early Access Review
Asgard's Fall has a very nice feel to it. Really crisp pixel art and satisfying UX / gameplay.
The boss battles are definitely the highlight of the game, and they kept me wanting to progress and see what's next!

I found the warpaints + crafting mechanic to be too confusing and cumbersome to work with, but it ended up not being too necessary to beat all the worlds so far. I also think the music gets pretty repetitive after a while - I ended up turning it off. Other than that, as someone who's never played the "bullet heaven" genre before, I was pleasantly surprised :D

White Shadows is a really memorable experience.

It's most similar to Little Nightmares and INSIDE, though evidently not as polished as those titles. I ran into quite a few animation bugs, pacing issues, and even a softlock. On top of that, the game is quite short.
That being said, the ideas, presentation, background designs and world building was both unique and fulfilling enough for me to really enjoy my time in this little world!

This is one of those games that will be stuck in your head even after you've stopped playing for the day.

The primary game is just one endless arena with set spawns, but the sheer depth and difficulty of the game makes surviving an extra 10-20 seconds a monumental feat. Even as you get longer times, you're able to improve your ability on parts you've already played by making use of strategies like farming.

Beautiful, satisfying, calming.
And then everything clogs and crashes and burns.
And then you do it again.

N++ has given me years of entertainment, boundless inspiration, and an unforgettable completion experience. Even after achieving 100%, I still find myself coming back thanks to an active community and endless user generated content.

One episode at a time.
One level at a time.
One challenge at a time.

Until you've reached the itty-bitty top of the very last mountain.

A claustrophobic, panic-inducing road trip that's also relaxing and charming!

This game was very charming, from all of it's haunting environments, calm moments of peace, and intense moments of fear. It's a slow-paced cinematic narrative, where you'll enjoy it best if you take in the world around you. (Definitely wear headphones too!)

The puzzles aren't too difficult, but depth perception can make things confusing. You may know what that's like if you've played Little Nightmares; this game has similar movement and camera systems.

I also encountered a few physics and animation bugs, which can be a little immersion-breaking. It didn't greatly impact my experience though.
