This took my by surprise. I thought I'd play something light and cheery and I ended up questioning my whole life.

I love the mechanic and I hate what it made my face look after it all ended...

It's rare that a game challenges what I believe and offers an opportunity for changing my world view.
This is definitely one of them. I'm no philosophy geek and barely know anything about it, but the story behind this one as well as Talos 1 gave me a lot to think about.

The puzzles are solid. Some I spent an hour and more solving, others I've gone through in seconds, but with the added lovely characters, narrative and a solid existential crisis, they never felt too hard or too easy (just the right amount of frustration). I felt happy just sitting there, pondering the puzzle and whatever philosophical dilemma that I just read or listened to in the log. All poems and excerpts that are picked up at the terminals are great, some are even wonderful.

Performance was acceptable and was never detrimental to my playthrough.

I left happy playing this game, I may pick it up at some point to try some things differently. I realized that this will be a game I'll miss like 2/3's of the way through. Now I just have to actually read up all the philosophy the devs crammed into this one.

It has some bugs, it makes you install gfwl, the inventory makes you rage some times, but overall, if you find someone to play with, this game is a good way to spend a few evenings, yelling and slamming your mouse on the table while still having plenty of fun.

I like the story and I think I definitely want to play the next game after finishing it.
