It was a fun game that was released with DLC, and then when no one wanted to pay to pay it was made free to play. Of course by then no one wanted to play anymore.

I would only suggest playing this game if you had 3-4 friends who wanted to play it all together.

This game taught me to appreciate text editors. Seriously, the method it uses for code manipulation is far too cumbersome to be worthwhile. I was pretty disappointed by this game as a result. Picking apart code is hard enough without bad tools.

Also, the storyline was a little non-existant which prevented me from really committing to the game. That said, in my short time playing it I made it all the way to the final boss (and beat him twice, out of some random number) before I through in the towel.

There are better games and there are better intros to code, this struck out to do two things and failed on both.

The single player campaign is a sufficient follow-up to the mastery of the first Portal game, but the added co-op campaign makes this game worth picking up with a friend. Especially when you can get it on sale.
