Not a huge amount to this game; you can see just about everything there is to it in the videos available. The entirety of the story is probably found in the loading blurbs as the game starts up. There's some ease of use features that are missing.

But for less than $5 I can pretend to be a kung fu action god until my two fingers are sore. Or I manage to get the auto-difficulty beyond %150.

An engaging combat system of incredible diversity and customization, beautiful visuals, amazing soundtrack, and a touching story. "It is too short" is my only complaint, but that just means it is concentrated without any slow points.

Several years ago, I was introduced to a little game named "Nethack." Odd little game, where there is an intricate system of loot, monsters, and YANDs. I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed the addition content in Slash'em, but I never got very far, and the skills I needed to do everything from kicking a door down to throwing a potion are lost to the rust of unuse. Then here comes this game, recommended by a friend, and I'm right back to the confusing first steps of my first Rogue-like. However, unlike the times where I could not get anywhere without a wiki check for the shortcuts and commands, I can keep trying out the zany possibilities and unique skills without feeling completely lost.

I won't say everybody will enjoy this game, but if you've got an itch for the classic gameplay of Rogue and can't remember how to even use the 'e' word, give this a shot!
