This game is simply brilliant. Its gameplay just sucks in and makes you continue until the victory/defeat. Many interesting systems, like the policies (a mixture of passive boosts and tech-tree), the military system (OOB, Order Delay and much more), Finances and Production (Inflation, Debts, Subsidies, Unemployment), and more and more. Such a detailed game!
Each new campaign (doesn't matter which one) will result something new, especially early start ones (1861 and early 1862). I highly recommend use the random mode, rather than the historical, and of course boost the opposing nation's morale and the overall toughness of the campaign. It feels really good when you feel all the emotions that fill you during a tense campaign in Virginia or a hardtime campaign in Missouri and Tennessee.
However there are some serious problems regarding each and every campaign. Since you fight an AI, is it very complex to build a strategy;
1. The AI will always have the upper hand in policies, it will almost instantly research 3 years contracts and just build a HUGE army of almost half-a-hundred thousand men, alongside the already existing ones, and just spam armies and flood you with manpower.
2. For some reason in 50% of the battles, you are ordered to attack (even if you are the defending army), and in other 40% of the times it'll be and advance combat (meaning both sides push towards eachother), but the AI will just entrench and wait for you.
3. The Detach order doesn't work properly
4. There are still often occasions of mass attrition for unknown reasons (armies with full supplies in friendly territories just reduce themselves by 75% for no reason.
Perhaps there are more problems, but they're minor. Other than that, this game is just spectacular, I absolutely love it. The game feels better with each update the devs post, and I'm glad they do their hard work loyally.

Game has bugs and its awesome. Buy it and experience the vastness of glitches and bugs, and trust me, they'll make your day much better!
Although there is one negative thing: the Trolls are pure cancer and there are some annoying kids sometimes, but bruh the trolls are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ REEEEE

Buy the game and play for the CSA. Thats mandatory.
