quickplay queue times were longer than paladins queue times

i see the conveyors moving geometry when i close my eyes

this game is pure testosterone

+ left clicky shoot feel good
+ diving and shooting is such an over the top thing to do
+ game runs good and smooth (like my brain)

cons
- i do wish it had a toggle mute option

this game is like card game crack, and i dont even like card games like that

> join some random server on one of the free maps to play with free epic games friends
> progress a little, ultimately dont play much
> converse a little with the locals, north american server so pretty smooth
> learn that the part of the map that we chose to settle in is home to a group of korean players that rules in the off hours
> fast forward to later that night
> they come from the skies
> multiple pteradons swooping and landing as they make their assault
> its not even close
> hiding in the bushes only provide so much cover
> made it out like we would wage grandiose war against the koreans
> never log back into the server

10/10 experience, the emergent narrative and story present in the game is incredible

Normally I do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reviews, but this is just a legitimately nice game. There's a lot of cool features in the game that are a really nice personal touch with the player, like drawing your own map of the island (with the option to simply see a completed map), marking which bait each fish will bite in the journal, and little taste profiles for all the fish. It's just a really nice and chill game and from what it looks like the dev puts a lot of effort into making quality updates.
