Easily the best horror game of all time in my personal opinion!
I've played this over and over on Xbox 360/Xbox One, and I know the game in and out, but playing on PC has made the visuals and the overall experience 10x better.
Must have for ANY horror fan, whether you're a fan of the Alien/AvP franchise or not.

After finally hitting 1000 hours, I have a lot to say about this game.

First off, its a typical MOBA, there is nothing different to other MOBA's apart from the theme, and the gameplay being 3rd person.

The game is very beginner friendly, until you've won a couple of matches in a row, then the games matchmaking system suddenly pairs your level 7 ass with people who have 2k+ hours on the game.

Anyway, the community for the game is so rich and vibrant, not to be confused with kindness/toxicity, it can still be toxic while being vibrant. - The community is there for the game, like the devs are there for the community. When the community says enough is enough, HiRez make sure its enough, and sometimes a little more.

Anyway: Pro's and Con's brought to you by a guy with 1000+ hours that still struggles to play the game sometimes...

Pros:
The game has a very easy learning curve thanks to the common camera angle and controls. - What I mean is this: Most MOBA's are top-down and don't use typical WASD movement to get around and do what you want but Smite has JUST that - A 3rd Person camera which you've definitely seen before, and a movement control scheme like no oth-- like EVERY other.

More Learning Curves: The game has many aides to help you get to know the game, most MOBA's will throw you in and not tell you how to build or level your champion, god, character, etc. Smite however says: "HEY... lemme build and level for you" - And it will continue to do this FOREVER until you tell it not to, which you can do in match, or before/after, in the pause menu, under "GUIDES".

The game is just very beginner friendly.

Hud Elements: You ever play an MMO and see that you can edit and change/remove/messup your HUD? Yeah its pretty cool not gonna lie. - You guessed it. Smite has that. - *DONT LIKE SEEING YOUR ABILITIES, HEALTH, MANA AND OTHER STUFF, JUST POOF IT OUT OF EXISTENCE* - No, for real, you can do that. There are even HUD Themes you can buy in game (usually Smite Pro League Team themes) to make the HUD look a little cooler, you can edit literally anything, the position (X,Y), the size, you can even split things up. (FOR EXAMPLE: The stats are usually locked with the build, but you can split those and have them in separate places.)

Anyway, thats my Pro's - Being very Beginner Focussed.

- TIME FOR THE CONS -

Oh my where to start.

Like every MOBA ever, you don't have access to every character, definitely not, but MOST MOBA's allow you to unlock them in game. Smite also does, but holy ♥♥♥♥, FAVOR (the in game currency used to buy gods) is SO hard to earn unless you grind or have a FAVOR BOOSTER. This makes getting every god pretty hard. BUT there is a purchasable ULTIMATE GOD PACK, which will give you EVERY god in the game, for a set price, and will give some extra FAVOR for gods you already have unlocked in return. SO I guess thats a plus.

The community is TOXIC bro: If you are easily offended, don't play Smite, you will meet someone in almost EVERY match, that will complain about something, and it ALWAYS escalates, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, I have at least 10,000 screenshots of people being toxic for stupid reasons like: "Wtf did you build" - "What is that pick, a hunter in jungle?" - Very stupid things.

Sometimes the Devs go a little overboard on new god releases: Sometimes when HiRez release a new god in the PTS Test Servers, they are BUSTEDLY OP, and you would think, after some careful playing with by the community, and some responses about the OP'ness, that they wouldn't be OP on LIVE Release... but they are, oh yes sir yes they are. So OP that Cthulhu is still considered OP by some, despite receiving nothing but nerfs since release.

Anyway, that wraps it up.

This was entirely based on my experience with Smite as a whole, no research or anything, just what I've personally seen. If you don't agree with my pro's and con's thats okay. Its opinion, Karen.

DO I RECOMMEND THIS GAME, yes, its fun, its a MOBA, its free, try it, no one will hate if you don't like it.
