I want to like this game I really do, I love the premise of it but there are still lots of bugs that spoil the immersion for me, nothing much seems to have improved or moved on from when I bought the game over a year ago. I appreciate that it is mainly one person developing it but this should have improved more than it has by now, ill try again in another year but at the moment it is too frustrating to attempt.

I get that people defend it and have a go at the people leaving bad reviews, but looking back the 1st info/comments I can see are from 2019, plenty of time to produce something more playable than what is on offer at the moment.

I enjoyed to game to a certain point. It looks nice and polished, however even on easy I found it frustratingly difficult and in need of lots of micromanagement of everything. Now i am not used to games of this nature so perhaps it is me.

I wanted something slow paced (check) to build a village/town/city (check). Something that i can pause whilst i do other stuff (I work from home)(check) and could build and maintain even a small population (fail)

the villagers sometimes all die of starvation. you dig into the guides and try to best place buildings and resources and things fail anyway, and then before 5 years are up, everyone is dead and you're not 100% sure why. perhas it was because your herbalist, overlapped your hunter, or maybe not.

In saying that it is worth playing, some people are good at it, just that that person isnt me. Personally enjoyment was tempered by the difficulty of keeping anything alive for any decent period of time
