The deal has once again been altered.
As of recent reporting the large list of blocked countries has been lifted and we can once again dive with our comr*cough*panions.

Grab a friend and call all of your orbitals on the alien scum at once. It's the only way to be sure.

What's not to love about a free demo game with an immersive world?
Dialed in the settings, no trouble running on my FX8350 w/ GTX1050ti

Interactive world mechanics were great, and I found myself quickly settling in to master the combat skills.

The Good:
The game has low requirements for spectacular visuals.
The game has a high skill-cap that feels rewarding as you invest time to get better at your preferred activities
The game has an amazing space-flight/combat engine that should get licensed to other devs :D
The player community is phenomenal and the game would quite literally, not be the same without them.

The Bad:
The training missions barely leave you ready to start your flight career.
The third party (community run) websites and tools are essential to learn, in game tools pale in comparison
No cross platform play, however all platforms do apply their results to the same universe management system.

The Ugly:
Netcode - As it's not a pay-by-month game, there is no massive central server farm moderating the game. The game plays through direction connections, and best-effort instance nodes. At times this will result in rubber-banding, or delayed action.
You can make an effort at improving this in your router and network configuration with a variety of features such as port forwarding, UPnP etc, I wish there was a way for me to run a system as a designated instancing node/server.
