I don't know that this took all 64 hours to play but lets assume it was 60. The first thing you NEED to know. From what I see you CANNOT add the DLC after you've started a game. I started playing and really dug the game ...after about 5 hours I decided to buy DLC.

I couldn't find a way to add it in so I sucked it up and started over. Now that that's out of the way I can talk about the game.

I tend to enjoy turn based RPGs. I admit I did end up skipping a good bit of of the dialogue. I can appreciate the Warhammer universe but I don't keep up with it at all. I do like the setting more than xcom, which I here this game is similar to.

If you like tactical turn based combat and levelling up your units then this game is fantastic. I turned on permadeath bc I thought it would give a nice touch of immersion or at least force some connection w/my characters. After I've spent 20+ hours building up a dude I DO NOT want to lose him........so adding this in really made me appreciate my guys.

This is optional so you can turn it off. I would gladly buy a sequel to this game if they make one. Heck I'd love to see other factions get their own game as well. I'm going to keep an eye out for future WH40k games now that I've enjoyed this one so much. I honestly feel kinda bad uninstalling it. I know I'm done w/the game...but it was a really great experience. 9/10

I need to preface this by saying I don't enjoy real time with pause BUT someone on nexus mods made a real time w/pause mod that is fantastic. I use it with the camera rotation mod and this game feels fantastic. Much better than Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire turn based mod felt.

The writing is pretty well done and combat feels good...but you WILL miss a lot.

I think you already know what this game entails. If you like turn based RPGs there is no reason not to play this. You can raise or lower the games difficulty to better suit you.

Larian has never changed for DLC but if they did I'd gladly pay for it. I can't say enough good about this game or Larian in general. I have NOTHING negative to say whatsoever. If I had amnesia and forgot about every game this is the first one I'd want to play and experience it all over again.

They believe in the modding community, so much that they allowed modders to play the game early and give feedback. In my opinion no game is more deserving.

I've played this game for close to 40 hours at this point and I have to say I personally enjoyed all of my time.

It is close to making all other SINGLE PLAYER survival games lackluster. The same vibe Dark Souls combat gave me cmpared to other action RPGs. I REALLY enjoy how much variety comes with all of the random maps, and the ability to turn off certain mobs in the ini file is quite nice. I HATE the birds and could do w/o the nudity in game.

The game DOES have its bugs but I've yet to experience many of them. It is excrutiantingly difficult, but thats why I enjoy the game so much.

I plan to pick it back up once A17 comes out.

I can't comment on multiplayer bc I simply don't play many multiplayer games these days. If you're looking for a tough survival game this is a great choice.

I've gotta be honest and say I obtained this game to try out before purchasing it. After playing it for likely around 2-3 hours I kenw I had to buy it. This game IS such a warm welcome to Megaman fans. If you think of it as Megaman meets rouge legacy, or any other rougelike game...then I think you'll be pleased.

I legitimately felt a RUSH playing this game, the last stage was amazing! I've only played as ace, I'm going to try to play as the zero character but I think Ace will ultimately be my fav.

This game is well worth its cost and I'll keep it installed to play even after I've beaten w/the zero character. HUGE thanks to Batterystaple Games & Fire Hose Games, this was a very special experience and I greatly appreciate it.

I really enjoyed this game. I need to start off by saying I've never played the Fallen Enchantress games...not quite sure why...just never did. I own some of them from humble bundle days, but got this one when it went on sale recently.

The major drawback would be that it's single player, but thats not a huge issue for me. It's often hard to find common tim to play a game with a friend nowdays. If that is your top priority then you should skip this game.

I really have been coming to enjoy turn based games within the past few years. Ever since I played Expedition Conquistador I've been itching to find another good one. This one fills that void pretty well. I think E.Q. may have looked a tad bit more polished on the combat side, but this game had more in depth combat with skills and what not.

This is about as close to Ogre Battle as I can get. That was one of my favorite childhood games growing up.

I really enjoyed this game more than I thought. I originally got a copy extremely cheap from someone who had a few copies. I didn't think much of it, but figured I ~may~ enjoy it.

I was dead wrong, it is great fun and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of RTS / tower defense style games.

I'm in the minority here...but I just couldn't enjoy the game. I'm not a fan of the combat style, would've MUCh preferred turn based.

I never finished thsi game b/c I picked it up a bit later and got sucked into the Pillars of Eternity hype. I acstually prefer this games combat style over PoE. I do wish that the combat was handled more like kings bounty or Might & Magic. But it is a great game and I'd highly suggest it to any old school RPG fan who wants something turn based.

I wouldn't typically play this game in single player, but I highly recomend it for multiplayer. Especially if you're looking for something you can play locally. Controller support works great.
