Just buy it.

I can not put into words what makes this game work,
nor can I even begin to think of any other game remotely similar to this series,
all I can say is that it's one of those games that just sticks with you for better or for worse,
(probably for the better).
The only advise I have is, relax, lay back, get your gamepad and experience.

10 /10, because you have a homeless guy in your team who can attack by throwing breadcrumbs on his enemy which will attract a flock of birds attacking viciously. Yes, yes!

Great Horror, great story, great artstyle, great graphics, great everything, it's a perfect modern Resident Evil.

FIRST IMPRESSION REVIEW (Non-spoilers):
If anyone cares about first impressions, here are mine as a newcomer to the Armored Core series and as a big girl fan of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, & the medieval Japanese thingy thing one:

~ Fun Gameplay; thrilling, fast paced, simple with depth.
~ Great Artstyle; good enviromental design and mech design. Graphics awesome (for those who care Graphics).
~ Amazing voice acting (JP voices).
~ UI is splendid and to the point (Sad that I have to praise the UI, but given the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of many other games nowadays I deem it noteworthy).
~ Soundtracks incredibly well done (FromSoftware standard, you know what that means).
~ Story/World-building caught my interest, very intriguing. (Haven't played or watched anything about the AC series prior).
All I know is Mechs in space, some energy resource, companies and militaries fight over resource in deep space, aka the
the struggle of everyday life but in space! lol. (Honestly, the story seems very interesting so far).
~ Difficulty? It's a FromSoftware game so I expect some difficulty. So far it had been hard to tell whether it will get to
notorious Soulsborne levels, but it seems highly unlikely that it's going to get easy. Could see the combat and boss
encounters as difficult in future missions, potential for it is definitely present.

Anything else? Idk, had a first great 2 hours and am looking forward to the rest of the game.

I love this game more than anything BUT...
this is the steam version and as such you can't connect it to your mihoyo account...
kinda sucks because I would've loved if I could've played the game over steam.
Anyway, the game is great and you can tell that this the lovechild of mihoyo but keep in mind steam and mihoyo accounts can not be merged.

I regret buying this game and supporting 343. F their development team and the people responsible for these d* decisions. I'm done. Good Job 343, your incompetence on having it "your way" has killed one of the greatest games of all time. Go to hell.

Combine the 90's wild wild west internet with the glory days of gmod; put that ♥♥♥♥ on crack cocaine, heroine, and steroids, & you got yourself this glorious end-product: VRchat.

The honey moon phase is over & I have given up on AAA games,
this game has pushed me to finally invest in an Index because I can't stand the corporate casinofication of games anymore, at least in the VR market the small community restricts it from greed and retains it's fuel from passion.

The single player lacks optimization, RTX3060ti in 1080p and I get 30-40fps in the open world? I'm sorry what? But at least the campagin is okay, it feels kinda like Halo, not the best, not the worst, but fun and that is all I want.

Muiltiplayer... No Forge, No custom games (won't work), theater broken, no custom browser, dismantling lobbies, BTB sucks as there are barely any vehicles (I have yet to see a wraith outside of Fiesta), they progression system was build around the concept of the consumer not being able to choose the game mode? Like sorry, but the ♥♥♥♥? How that even happen? They changed it a bit but it's still trash, but yeah the microtransaction store works with $20 for pineapples that you can buy at Wallmart for $1,49 each... Maps are bad too, they are mainly designed for competitve and as such the game loses alot of the classic "halo social" feelings of older titles (behemoth is good though, that's an amazing map), classic weapons are missing like the Plasma Rifle (seriously?) or the shell loading shotgun (but at least they weren't braindead enough this time to remove the SPNKR LMFAo remember that ♥♥♥♥), don't even get me started on coatings and armor cores. No splitscreen, no co-op, no roadmap, nothing. I can't anymore.

The worst is, the core of Infinite is sooooooo good. There is something really special here, but the greed and reluctance of putting the consumer first so Microsoft/343 can keep milking....
I hate Infinite more than Halo 5 because Infinite at it's core has the potential to be better than Halo 3. 343 managed to solve the sprint issue, like holy ♥♥♥♥, sooooo why are they too stupid still to get Halo? Idk, but I highly doubt it's the devs (outside of that stupid removing Plasma Rifle/Fuel Rod/shotgun decision type ♥♥♥♥).
Gonna check the game back out MAYBE in a year or two but right now this unfinished trash just isn't worth my time when I can go and play much more passionate VR products. RIP Halo, you were once something really special and at least I can still play you on the MCC.
