An excellent remaster of an awesome game. Quake shouldn't need any introduction. It's one of the fathers of modern FPS games. And it is a game that I have played and replayed many times. It's nice to see the care and respect for the classics to be so alive. If you don't know Quake, never played it and like the FPS genre you owe yourself a favor to play it. Yes, there are many source ports of this game that does most of what Nightdive did. Yes, it has it's bugs(although I never experienced any one). But all those can be fixed. I am so glad to see this game so well cared. What couldn't be done before is to install the game to run so smoothly, without any other patches. And it has many graphical options now. Coop/Deathmatch run very well.

It's a good bunch of games. The port is very good too, maybe not on the expert technichal level but it is a good port nonetheless. Any retro gamer will enjoy this collection. Maybe a little too expensive but you can always wait for sale. Got it for the 19xxs games and Ghouls/Goblins. But there are many other fun games. Worth buying if u are a retro fan.

What can I say about Shadowman? It was one of my favorite games back when I had the N64. It is a more adventure / exploration game with excellent character progression. Nightdive did an incredible job on this remaster. It looks wonderful, with the various visual effects applied. It has a big difference with all the versions that preceded it. It has new content. This way old fans will appreciate better too. But it's a remaster, not a remake. The gameplay is still the usual and that displeases many. Many expected "modernizations" such as maps, goal markers, etc. There's nothing like that. But this is the original Shadowman. Anyone who was bothered by this in the past, when it was released, will continue to be bored. But this is a hallmark of a well-curated work. Highlight what already existed and do not change the product. It's really worth it. Those who liked it will love the remaster, those who don't know it, it's worth checking out some gameplays and see if you like it. But I believe that anyone who likes metroidvania will like this game.

Que posso dizer de Shadowman? Era um dos meus jogos preferidos quando tinha o N64. É um jogo mais de aventura/exploração com excelente progressão de personagem. A Nightdive fez um incrível trabalho nesse remaster. Ficou maravilhoso, com os diversos efeitos visuais aplicados. Tem grande diferença com todas as versões que o antecederam. Tem conteúdo novo. Assim os fãs antigos vão conseguir apreciar melhor também. Mas é um remaster, não um remake. A jogabilidade ainda é a de sempre e isso desagrada muitos. Muitos esperavam "modernizações" como mapa, marcadores de objetivos etc. Não tem nada disso. Mas esse é o Shadowman original. Quem se aborrecia por isso no passado, quando foi lançado, vai continuar se aborrecendo. Mas esse é uma marca de um trabalho de curadoria bem feita. Destacar o que já existia e não alterar o produto. Vale muito a pena. Quem gostava vai adorar o remaster, quem não conheçe, vale a pena conferir uns gameplays e ver se agrada. Mas acredito que toda pessoa que gosta de metroidvania vai gostar desse jogo.

Que jogo incrível! É um plataformer que sabe exatamente o que fazer. Traz muita inspiração de Ninja Gaiden mas também inova do jeito certo. Que jogo incrível! Procura um jogo de plataforma retrô que não te canse? Pode ter encontrado um... Vale muito a pena tentar. Muita ação ninja que sabe homenagear a era 8bits/16bits. Se gosta de 2D retrô vai virar fã.

Muito bom jogo! O remaster ficou muito bem feito! Toda a estrutura e jogabilidade do jogo original foram mantidas, com poucas alterações significativas. Isso é ponto positivo pra os fãs inveterados, mas é ponto negativo pra quem já se acostumou à jogabilidade moderna. O pathfinding não foi alterado, não existe o "atack-move", mas da pra construir diversas unidades ao mesmo tempo e foi adicionado também os grupos de controle. Os gráficos foram modernizados juntos com a UI. Vai gostar quem já curte jogo antigo e tá acostumado com alguns dos vícios deles.

It is an excellent game. It is very well made, while using the best mechanics of the old games, it improves exactly enough to stimulate more improved gameplay without losing the charm of the first ones. Being a continuation of an old franchise and loved by fans, it does nothing different. It is "just" another Streets of Rage and one of the best. So criticisms of the game that say it doesn't bring anything new are unfair. I would be disenchanted with the game if it wanted to become anything other than SoR. If you like SoR 1-3 you will like this one. The art may not please some but this is a personal preference. Really enjoyed. Games like this have to be valued for others to follow this example.

É um excelente jogo. Está muito bem feito, ao mesmo tempo que usa as melhores mecânicas dos jogos antigos ele aprimora elas exatamente o suficiente para estimular uma jogabilidade mais aprimorada sem perder o encanto dos primeiros. Sendo uma continuação de uma franquia tao velha e adorada pelos fãs, ele não faz nada de diferente. É "apenas" outro Streets of Rage e dos melhores. Então críticas ao jogo que dizem que ele não traz nada de novo são injustas. Eu me desencantaria com o jogo se ele quisesse se tornar qualquer outra coisa que não SoR. Se você gosta de SoR 1-3 gostará desse. A arte talvez não agrade a alguns mas essa é uma preferência pessoal. Gostei muito. Jogos assim tem que ser valorizados para que outros sigam esse exemplo.

I really enjoyed the game. I finished the game the moment I do this review.
In general the critics did not like the game, they criticize the graphics, the gameplay, the sound. But the fans loved it. Because the game is a real love letter from the developers to the franchise. Since T2 it has not seen much success. But this game wants to be included in the franchise as a tribute to T1 and T2. If you are going to analyze just the game itself, as a shooting game it is just average. It's not bad, but it also doesn't stand out at all. The game found the love of the fans because it combines reasonable gameplay with the Terminator story in a fun way. It takes the most special elements of shooting games nowadays like character customization, choice and consequence and puts that in the Terminator universe. Therefore, it is a game that is more successful among fans of the franchise. If you don't have high expectations for this game and like the franchise, you may be surprised at how much you will like the game.
It is worth remembering that Teyon is the developer of the game Rambo, from 2014. Game highly criticized. But it seems that this time, at least among the fans, they nailed it.

Gostei muito do jogo. Terminei o jogo no momento que faço essa resenha.
Em geral os críticos não gostaram do jogo, criticam os gráficos, a jogabilidade,o som. Mas os fãs adoraram. Porque o jogo é uma verdadeira carta de amor dos desenvolvedores para a franquia. Desde T2 que ela não vê muito sucesso. Mas esse jogo quer ser incluído na franquia como uma homenagem a T1 e T2. Se for analisar apenas o jogo em si, como um jogo de tiro ele é apenas mediano. Não é ruim, mas também não se destaca em nada. O jogo encontrou o amor dos fãs porque ele une uma jogabilidade razoável à história de Exterminador do Futuro de uma maneira que diverte.
Ele pega os elementos mais especiais de jogos de tiro hoje em dia como customização do personagem, escolha e consequência e coloca isso no universo de Exterminador do Futuro. Logo é um jogo que tem mais sucesso entre os fãs da franquia.
Se você não criar grandes expectativas para esse jogo e gostar da franquia, poderá se surpreender em como vai gostar do jogo.
Vale lembrar que Teyon é a desenvolvedora do jogo Rambo, de 2014. Jogo muito criticado. Mas parece que dessa vez, pelo menos entre os fãs, eles acertaram em cheio.

Excelente jogo! Mistura sci-fi com exploração. Realmente me lembra muito o System Shock. Deveriam ter mais jogos assim. A Arkane está de parabéns!
