Great sequel, offers more of what people liked about Season 1. Maintains consistently high quality level design throughout.

Don't go in expecting something overly serious, or for it to have a 20-hour campaign like the Yakuza series. The graphics are ass (a given considering it's a 2011 low-budget Japanese PS3 game), the controls are a bit wonky, and the low production values are on display. But it makes up for that by being incredibly fun, rewarding and replayable.

It has 10 different endings, with various branching story paths leading up to them. It has humour by the bucketloads (though I personally think they pushed the humour a bit too far compared with the previous games). It has a ton of weapons to collect. It has numerous "styles" which provide you with different moves to use in combat. It has a large amount of minigames and side quests, the latter of which have some really creative ideas implemented (e.g. pretend to be the murderer of a young woman's parents, and fake your death to make her happy). It has tons of replayability, allowing you to carry over your items and weapons to a new game and try to achieve a different ending.

All in all, I'd highly recommend it. As I said, it's a low budget title, but it more than makes up for it in charm and gameplay.
