First of all there is tons of FPS Games but CSGO stands out from them becouse CSGO has mechanics and Skins etc.
Mechanics
If you aim at the head you kill the enemey if you are being careless and spraying your gun all over the place you get punished but you can use this mechanic against the enemy, you can learn the "Spray pattern"
Weapon Skins
The Arms Deal update changed CSGO forever.They added Knives, Skins, and it just brought big change to the game becouse now you have a HUUUGE community full of Skin Creators and Skin Fanbase it's just good way to customize your game and make money.You can Trade the skins, rename them or put frickin' stickers on them.And you could get scammed.The skin price change they go up or down there is pattern based item there is rare item there is alot of item variation so you will be guaranteed to find your favorite skin.
The Conclusion
It's just a well produced game. You win you lose you learn the game thus improving your Skill Group
