fun and unique game with huge potential but with braindead devs

8/10 Pretty solid game.

Pros:

(+) Graphics are good.

(+) Story is interesting and well done, with unexpected plot-twists several times.

(+) Voice acting is pretty good.

(+) Combat is really smooth, with a lot of variety in terms of what build you want to go for.

(+) Fairly big map with some possibilty of exploration (altough if you only do the main- and sidequests you will eventually explore everything anyway.

(+) In-depth skills/attributes system.

(+) The choices you make during conversations affects your reputation and relationship with other factions/people.

(+) Boss fights are pretty fun and intense.

(+) During loading screens you can visit a merchant to buy/sell stuff, change your gear, change your current companions/squad and craft items, very handy!



Cons:

(-) It's expensive.

(-) At times if you are in some of the big cities, your fps can drop like crazy (even with a solid computer!)

(-) There is a lot of bugs. I have many times stumbled upon invisble walls right in the middle of the road.

(-) The main cities feels kinda empty in terms of people roaming about. There is big markets and docks, but you barely see anyone there at all (even though it sounds like it should be tons of people there by the sound effects).

(-) It's not really "open-world". You can be out in the wilderness, but you are very limited in terms of where you can go. There's usually mountains or a forest surrounding the area you can explore.

(-) The interior of all of the castles as well as a lot of the houses are the exact same in all of the cities, which is kinda boring.

(-) The variety in mobs/creatures is also not that great. The bosses are unique for the most part, but there are no more than 10 variations of the normal "adds".

(---) When you finish the main story/kill the final boss you can no longer play that save file. You just respawn at last checkpoint before the boss fight, which is super annoying. (THERE IS STILL SO MANY SKILLS TO UNLOCK AND REPUTATION TO BE GATHERED!!! AND SIDE-MISSIONS TO BE DONE!!)


If you really like Skyrim/Witcher type games, I recommend you give this game a shot. And if you're not a RPG person, don't buy this. As mentioned above it is quite expensive, and as I only got 31 hours out of it (while I did every side-quest I got, as well as main story), it's SUPER ANNOYING that you can't keep playing after you finished the story. I'm sure it'll come DLC's for this eventually which might add post-story content, but as for now, that was a let-down.

This game is absolute garbage. Full of bugs, optimization is horrible, and 50% of the time you spawn you get spawnkilled by hostile creatures. Also the world doesnt render in completely every now and then.

Food and vitamins system is also ♥♥♥ stupid.

The only plus side to this game is that it's not too expensive compared to other new games.

The only reason I'm still playing this game is because I have absolutely nothing else to play at the moment.
